Creatine when "cutting"- Experts only please

This question may be self evident, but I have guessed wrong enough that I wanted some expert opinions/answers.

Creatine, as we all know, is a cell volumizer. Primarily by bringing and holding water and nutrients in the muscle.
So when we "cut" do we want to go off creatine. My guess is yes. What's the right answer and why?

No We Do not go off

If anything you want to keep endogenous ATP levels high, not only for ergogenic aid, but also for muscle fullness, and as you noted hydration and nutrients

A daily maintenance dose or EOD day dose is in order

Tbh, I've tried to stay on creatine while "cutting" but I have always maintained a bloat when I'm on creatine. Yes ATP levels are great and lots of energy, but the bloat is evident and the muscles feel soft.

What do you recommend bro?

POST workout or Cardio and ONLY once per day

The likely hood Of edema like symptoms if taken POST is nill or alot less

Also might want use MCC, CEE, or Krealklyn

Hmm....what I actually did was take it pre-workout only when I was cutting, thinking it would keep me energized, since my blood sugar levels were likely low...will switch into post workout only and try it out next time I'm cutting.

Will the above mentioned supplements decrease the beneficial effects of creatine, i.e. water to the muscle, strength increase, etc..?

some of the bloat you see is from the delivery vehicle dextrose -

If you use kre-alkalyn as omega mentioned or some of the other enhanced uptake no insulin required formulations, or even some of the new micronized creatine, you should get the ATP benefits without the spillover

I used micronized creatine and I still get the bloat. Huge bloat. It's fake size basically. I will give the kre-alkalyn a try next time I use creatine.

I am currently dieting. I recently switched to KA and I am in love with the stuff. All that bloat & diarrhea are gone! It has helped me keep my strength and a few exercises have gone up even though I am on reduced calorie and doing cardio.

An old dog has learned a new trick. Your comments make sense.
I was thinking in just one dimension, WATER WEIGHT only.
I use CEE. Will get some KA... I only bloat on Cre Monohydrate Which I don't use anymore.
- Thanks Gentlemen.

Same here. I definitely feel more water retension and also weigh a little more while on creatine.
