Creatine and Cramps?????

Hey guys

I was wondering if anyone has experienced cramps due to creatine. Recently I'ved upped my dosage of micro creatine from 5grams to 10 grams per day. Tonight after my chest workout and went on to cardio like always. Mondays is a high intensity 1 mile run. Approx. half way through I was experiencing some extreme calf pumps. After about another 200ft. I could barely walk from the cramps....Anyone else ever experienced this? i don't think it will affect my low intensity cardio, but I really like my 1 mile run

You drinking a shit ton of water? At least a gallon...maybe more depending on your size and amount of calories and protein consumed, also level of physical activity. A banana or two is a good idea. Also a good idea to take some taurine.

I usually drink around 1.5 to 2 gals. H2O on days I'm not working out, and 2 to 3 gals. on days I do workout. But, it's been 80-90 degrees here since June, and I eat 450-500 grams of protein on non-lifting days, and 600-700 grams of protein on days I lift. I only use creatine on lifting days too (3 days a week).
 
Water and taurine. The creatine is gonna dehydrate you if your not taking in enough water.

Yes I have heard of this. You need to drink more H20 and supplement with taurine.

I take 5g of CEE after workouts,is that ok? or should i use some before? i use to take my creatine with dextrose but for the past few weeks i don't,is it really necessary to use dextrose or juice will do the same? thanks
