Personally, the only thing I really ever have trouble dealing with is my CHOCOLATE cravings! (maybe b/c I'm a girl!)

I am still searching for a way to deal with it cause right now I feel like I'm a drug addict with it and it's SO hard to resist!

What do you crave and how do you deal with it?

I crave carbs in General... I get rid of the crabing by carb-loading once every 3 days... then I am fed up of carbs for 3 days!!!

i just stuff some beefjerky in my mouth... ha ha..
also eat lots of peanuts...
........i have to stay away no cheat day... or i will never git ride of the cravings..

My downfall is chocolate too. The way I deal with it is focus on my goals and picture the end result of my hard work. Chocolate is yummy, but won't help me get there quicker and to me it's not worth it.

Some people (especially women) have chocolate cravings because their body needs magnesium (or other mineral that chocolate provides)

it seems like for me i crave sugar in general, i'm not sure why. its like if i have anything sweet, i have an insatiable appetite the rest of the day and i'll have a hugely overwhelming urge to eat more and more sweets. that fat free cheesecake recipe of MrX's really helps a lot sometimes lol.

Where is that recipe???

Try chocolate protein shakes. Add a tad of instant coffee or instant espresso to the shake for a "mocha latte" flavor.

For chocolate cravings -- buy a bar/brick/block of High-Quality rich chocolate. Special Dark flavor is best for the anti-oxidants. If you're having a several-day period of cravings -- eat 1 block of chocolate per day. Eat it at a time where you can savor it. And make sure it's quite High-quality chocolate -- cuz you can have 1 small piece without doing damage to your diet and the flavor will be so intense that it will really satisfy those chocolate cravings.

try fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiber. broccoli, green beans, lettuce, etc. Also, chug a quart of water. That well help fill you up and help you forget about your cravings. (at least it helps with me)

Bump Jens. I have my chocolate-caramel protein bar around noon - that satisfies my chocolate cravings and at least I get some protein with it too; plus my meal replacement is chocolate flavor too. Just my two cents...

try eating some fat free cottage cheese, low carb yogurt, fat free cool whip a package of spenda all mixed together. Add some chocolate protein powder or just cocoa powder of you must. This tastes really good and stops my cravings.

Omega, I dunno why but that stuff never worked for me. I think the reason for that is (primarily, almost definitely) because I'm not taking it correctly. My timing is off...I'm about positive. How does one take it? when? empty stomach? after meals? etc. I don't even use it b/c I don't want to waste it +harm myself.

really?

I am 6'3 300 ( no not fat):)

and 1-2 caps puts me out of appetite commision for a long while

take 1 caps in the AM when you wake

1 cap mid day ( 45 minutes pre lunch)

1 cap late day (45-1 hours pre dinner)

AHHHHH. So, you take it a good amount of time prior to your meals. That's the key. I was told (I don't remember who) that it could be taken w/meals. Hmmm :) let's try it.

Thank you :rose:

30-60 min prior to meals. 1-2 tabs will be enough to supress appetite.

:rose: :rose: - back atcha ;)

I like sugar free Vanilla Pudding. It is only 75 calories p/serving when mixed with skim milk. Then I throw in like 4-5 scoops of chocolate whey. It is a good craving killer and kind of takes the place of ice cream for me
