coworkers make poor wedding guests...

A coworker of mine just asked me to attend her wedding. I like her and all, but coworkers are always doomed to be the wretched refuse of any wedding. You can always spot them in the last three rows of the wedding, and at a distant lonely table at the reception. There they sit, huddled together, awkwardly talking shop because ultimately they have nothing else in common other than work. Friends and family of the bride and/or groom constantly asking, "who ARE those people?" "Oh, those are her friends from work <yawn>."

It's pitiable. I must get out of this tactfully.

Ah go anyway. But only if they have free food and drinks. Plus you might meet some hottie maybe you will catch the garter and whined up being married next. On second thought - you better skip the wedding. :D
