Just got back from Plam Beach Fl....I was at a bar last night and one of the bouncers started shit with me. He lunged at me so I hit him before he could hit me. I was beating the Sh*t out of him ( to mr tough guys surprise) when at least five of his buddies from the bar malled me. I got hit in the face with something ( bottle or a knee) and i was put out cold. My bro came to my aid when 10 more people came out of the bar and malled him. ( he is 6'2 220, played line backer at a D1 School) and beat him down.

All I am saying is if you start shit finesh it yourself. If you EVER get your friends involved ( unless they break it up) then you are a COWARD and should be exciled from this great country, for there is no place for people like this here or anywhere.........

I am going to be honest.............we got kicked out and they were yelling all sorts of sh*t. As i was leaving ( the kid who started the whole thing was behind me) I turned around to basically say Shut the F up and the kid came at me....simple as that. One thing I will do, which will never change. If i feel threatened I go into a deffense for some reason, where i am in the midset that I better get the other guy before he gets me. Once this guy came at me My head clicked and i took him out

I don't fight, I am 26 and those days are behind me. I dont even drink but i was with my brother and decided to have a couple since i only see him 2x a year. He did get a bit roudy but they overserved him.....How do serve somebody 2 double shots of taquila in a row. I told the lady to shut him off but the other guy kept serving him.... WTF I think I know better then them if my brother has had enough.

Besides the point 20 on 2 is uncalled for NO MATTER what the cirumstances

Very lucky, If the guy was a real man I would have much less though. I woke up to the cops helping me up, no arrests were made but my brother might take legal action depending on his knee. He just had reconstructive knee surgury 2 months ago. when he gets home he is getting an MRI if there is damage he is will file a law suite if not it will just be in the past

I have never experienced something like this. I have been in fights and they were with men. I have been beat up and have beat up but at least it was one on one with a real man and that i can accept.

I have not been in a fight since I was 22 years old ( 27 now) so its not like I go looking for it either. I am a very laid back timid person i dont go looking for trouble........wjole thing makes me pretty angry but i giotta let it go

Regardless of what the first prick did to start shit, when a group of bouncers see a guy pounding the shit out of one of the others, they're going to jump on your ass in any club. In any normal situation of 1 guy starting shit with another, I agree that your buddies better stay out of it as long as no one is getting seriously hurt. One of my friends (all mouth) tried telling me that he wanted to get in a fight that particular night. I laid it out very clearly for him. If he started shit, I'd let him get his ass beat and wouldn't interfere unless he was in real danger. But if someone started shit with him, I'd always have his back no matter what. I also told him that since I'd just had knee surgery, he should realize that if I had to fight, I'd end up in jail because I was in no condition to stand toe to toe with someone. I'd be going for critical areas like eyes, temples, joints and throats.

Here's my take on your situation. It sounds like you were a bit rowdy in a bar and were asked to leave. As you did, you became verbally abusive and resisted. A bouncer went to physically escort you out and you dropped him. The other bouncers decided it would be best to take you down together. Maybe it was excessive force, but it kinda seems like you provoked it. Plus, they were just doing their jobs. They never came looking for trouble, you found them. As for you brother filing a lawsuit, I doubt any lawyer would touch that one. I think it's time to lick your wounds and call it a day.

fro got that right. same thing happened to us on a bachelor party. we were at parkway tavern and the groom to be wanted to hear SHOUT from Animal House. Now this is kind of a college bar that plays all kinds of shit. They've played SHOUT before. The DJ was a big fat pussy and started calling the groom to be a pussy over the mic. well we didnt want to start a bunch of shit because the place was packed and we had about 20 of us spread out in there and it would have been hell to find everyone. so we start to file out and regroup at the door to leave. about 6 of us started to walk out toward the next bar when the bouncers (12 of them) came outside on the street and started following us and taunting and provoking. we got into it and 2 of my buds got beat pretty good. after they went back inside, we regrouped, went back in and found the rest of our group. when the bouncers saw us inside, they started fighting with us again. this time we had all 20 of us in there and they started getting hit from every direction. it was a fucking madhouse. i was with some badass fighters and we beat the shit out them. it didnt last long. right after, 2 of our guys jumped over the bar and started tossing out free beer to everyone in the house and then we grabbed as much as we could, piled onto our bus and hauled ass. Good for those fuckers. they only started the fight because they thought they had the numbers. WRONG!

I've been a bouncer for two and a half years. We always back each other man, that's just how it's done- it's a job for us, not a proving ground, so we do what we have to to kick the person(s) out. I do try to avoid striking, though.

I would say, however, that those guys were wrong. For one thing, you were already out the door. For another, they should be able to handle someone talking shit to them without jumping on them and getting physical. As a bouncer, you get mouthed an awful lot, and you just have to take it. It should never have come to a physical altercation if the person is on there way out, no matter how much they're shit-talking. They should have let you spout off, grinned, and waved good bye.

Thing is I live in MA it happened in FL so I have to chalk it up as a bad experience, but I did think of getting some friends togeather and taking a little vaca but it really is not possible

No, I don't. The place I work in now is too confined anyway and it would kill all business for the night. We had a guy get a beer mug busted over his face- 37 stitches- last Friday and I handled the situation without throwing a punch. I've only struck people a couple of times, and it was with my elbow.

Be careful, any bar/nightclub is the Bouncer's domain. If the cops arrive, its Their word against yours..... and chances are you will lose.

Some bouncers are very professional, others suck.

I've bounced for a long time, and only been involved with beating customers on two occasions. Once was an asshole that mistook one of our shot girls for a stripper, and the other was a guy that took a cheap shot at one of the guys I work with.

If you misbehave don't expect one guy to take you out so it's fair, we're at work, we're not( at least most of us ) trying to prove how hard we are. It's just a job, it's easier for 4 guys to drag someone out then 2.

Outside of that, you can scream and challenge me to fight and carry on all you want, it'll just roll off of me.

Im gonna give my opinion even though none of you guys are gonna agree with me. I have been jumped plenty of times and I have jumped plenty of people. I am not a bully and do not start fights. With all of that said I DO NOT believe in 1 on 1 fights. If one of my friends is fighting then Im fighting. This is the case if there is 10 of us and 2 of them or the other way around. Fighting is not suppose to be fair and it is not a sport. If you want to fight for honor then join boxing. Theres been times where a friend of mine was gonna fight someone else. I could have let it be a "fair" 1 on 1 fight but I always choose to jump in. Why wouldnt I pound some guy's face in who wants a problem with my friend. And dont say thats pussy or coward shit because it goes both ways. Theres been times where I could have let my friend fight 1 on 1 but instead jumped in knowing it would result in 5 guys jumping on me.

I hear ya Bro. In 96', my friend and I got bum-rushed by a pack of fuckers. It was a situation very similar to yours, we had 15 assailants on us. I took a good piece out of their front man, then we got hit with everything. I ended uo unconscious on the pavement(outside the bar) and two of the cowards started jumping on my head. One of the bouncers who was watching this, didn't like that too much and smashed the shit out'a them. I ended up doing two weeks in a coma. You wanta see muscle atrophy!

Now everything is different. I can't get over how sadistic and vicious I am when I need to scrap. The choice between going back to the hospital or taking out some stupid mother fucker, isn't a choice at all.

30min after, the guy was back with 10 of his buddies, poor little dumb ass in 2 sec he was surrounded by 55 players, and he deserved the beating on his life.
Last I heard he was out of the coma in January 95, and the beating occured in July 94.

I work as a bouncer and as was already said, its a job and i'm there for the paycheque not to prove that i'm tough. If one of my boys was getting wailed on regardless of if it was his fault i'd back him up. Working as a bouncer is all about control, you have to be in contol of yourself and all the people in your bar. i've been in the middle of situations similar to yours, where there is a thirty person brawl in the bar and i have to jump in there with three or four other guys and break it up, when that happens you use what ever it takes to get them outside, once things move outside its no longer my problem. And like most bouncers i've lost it a few times, i've only thrown punches three times and 95% of the time i pride myself in walking a guy out and never having to get physical. My job is all about making sure the bar is a fun place to party and safe for everyone, staff and patrons. And if you are asked to leave, just leave don't mouth off or get pissed off about it, just walk out and go to another bar.
