Could someone please explain this EZ curl form?

I was browsing the internet and came upon an article regarding the EZ curl bar form, and I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a clearer picture of what the form would look like. Here is an excerpt of the article:

"The bicep performs two jobs. One is to curl the arm but the other is to supinate the palm. So, in order to work the bicep completely, you wan to make it do both jobs at once.

That just makes sense doesn't it? That's why you make your best progress when you do curls with the palm supinated. The straight bar doesn't supinate the palm but it at least it keeps the palm straight. The EZ curl bar doesn't even do that. It allows the palm to turn half way to the side. Yet we can actually do more weight with an Ez curl bar than with a straight bar. Why is that anyway? It's simple. The more you turn the wrist so the palm is facing down the more you activate the brachia radialus. This is good for building the top of the forearm but it's not so good for the bicep because now it doesn't have to do all the work.

If your goal is to build huge biceps here's a little trick you can use with the EZ curl bar that makes it even better than the straight bar...

Grab the EZ curl bar so the palms are pronated but supinated. It's a really awkward hand positioning, but man does it place stress right down on the lower bicep!"

Pronated but supinated? Isn't that like a neutral grip that one would use when say bringing a bottle of water up to the mouth? How is this possible with an EZ curl bar?

Thankyou

So much that is written is either valuable or useless. The EZ is just a different angle with a shift in emphasis. In one of the e-books from this site, it is pointed out how the EZ actually shifts weight away from the bicep. I've read that it takes pressure off the elbow when used for triceps.

My conclusion? We are all different and if the EZ produces results for you, great. I use it for back hand curls off the Scott curl rack; that's all.

Good post.

My understanding also is that the EZ bar moves emphasis onto the brachialis. Just do chins and row heavy and do some fluff biceps work every few months to fill them back out.
