correlation between natural levels and mg of exogenous test?

I have been curious about the "natural acceptable range", the 300-800 # you constantly see thrown around, and how that relates to mg of exogenous test, say prop for example. I understand that there will be individual variances in these numbers because of things like volume of blood and that. Just mainly curious, what a 800 level is equal to on dosage of test prop per week (if shot ed)... I have seen stats that suggest people produce between 3-11mg of test per day naturally, so it would seem that 25 mg a day of prop would be between 2-5 times normal level (I understand how the ester works on prop...just mainly talking about what a daily level is once its shot every day to a point where the blood levels stabilize.) You don't see people running alot of 25mg prop cycles, so please, any one who has the info enlighten me... how does a "normal" test level correlate with prop? I saw one post where a guy was using 25mg a day prop and had a blood test and said his test level was at 2504... any info much appreciated thanks

Bump... quite surprised no one has responded to this! Okay well so far I have done some research and came up with the figures that the prop ester composes roughly 26% of the mg weight of test prop, and that enanthate ester composes roughly 45% of the mg weight of test prop. This leads me to the figure that 250mg / week test e --> 250*.55 (55% testosterone by weight) = 137.5 mg test per week. 25 mg Test P per day --> 175mg per week test p --> 175*.74 (74% testosterone by weight) = 129.5mg per week total exogenous test.

It appears that 25mg per day of prop should be roughly equal (on a weekly basis) to 1 shot of 250mg enanthate. Now I am curious exactly where relative to the natural acceptable range this would put someone. Where does roughly 130 mg ACTUAL TESTOSTERONE (not any ester weight) put you with respect to endogenous testosterone productiion? If the 3-11mg produced per day is believed than this should still be just shy of double the high range . . .

I am quite surprised at the lack of response to this scientific inquiry. Lots of guys have advice on the HRT board but not many are getting down to the numbers. Thanks all

I think lots of contributors take a more simplistic approach to the use of testo and the associated results felt and measured through blood testing.

I have taken as little as 100 mg per week using a topical and seen my scores hit 900. And I have taken 2 hits of 150mg testo p and gotten over 1,000.

My Dr claims that 75-100 mg of testo p or the bioidentical topical at 100 mg per week will raise the total testo level to 800. And 800 is plenty for HRT.

He also insists that diet, exercise and recovery can effect the testo levels with or without any added testo. I have found that low fast carbs combined with added testo and HGH make my body leaner and stronger.

Cool thelion2005 thanks for the input. You are right, I do approach this from a different angle than alot of people, but I have always been one to want a detailed understanding of exactly what is going on. The numbers have always spoke to me much more than strictly anecdotal reports. I guess alot of people get 100mg of test cyp or enanthate a week for TRT and that is only about 55mg of actual testosterone per week, so with 25mg a day of test p working out to ~130mg actual test (less than 175 because ester weight subtracted), it sure sounds like the 25mg test p a day will be hitting strong as far as raising test levels over natural.

Anyone have any more similar experiences to share which may shed more light on this topic? Specific dosage levels of injectible test and resulting blood levels of free test...?

in respect to TRT i believe that total T is not as relevant as free/ bioavailable T and that other hormone levels (such as SHBG) has an impact on these numbers as well... these #'s could be different for everyone if you're just looking at total and free/bioavailable T

theres a fellow by the name of jansz at meso in the mens health forum who is ALL about formulas and this exact type of methodology in respect to TRT... you should chime in over there or hit him up... he's very thorough & easy to talk to
