There is no such thing as a lie detector test. The effectiveness of the test is in it's ability to gain a confession by making the person in question confess to a crime because he/she believes that the retarded thing actually works. Interviewing Officer says after initial probe/questioning" Um, sir were finding some inconsistencies in your statement about your past drug use, is there anything else you'd likie to tell us" You say , "No Sir". The machine is nothing more than a very expensive bluff. The only somewhat effective "lie detector test" is kineseology, in which an individual's body language is pathologically analyzed while being asked questions. Effective for someone not used to being interviewed/interrogated, but for someone who knows the game it's an easy thing to pass as well. Monotone voice, and limited body movements for them all is my advice. Think of your chick naked when ever your asked a question. LOL

By the way, I'm a former other governemnt agency contractor {Iraq} who had to take a poly for a clearance. It's a joke.....

I wouldn't admit to it. I applied last summer, and the question was have you done AS within the last 7 years. So I said yes, and they told me they were not interested, never even made it to the polygraph. I asked the recruiter, and he said they are looking at it pretty seriously. Its funny because all other drugs were 3 years, except for AS, coke and heroin type of shit. Its so fucked up how AS gets grouped with that type of drug.

Once you make it in, I don't think they really care. There are a few cops that I know that buy from a guy I know.

I do believe however that it is indeed possible to fool the test. I did lie on one paticular question that was asked and it didn't catch it.

Funny you say that because they ask if you have taken any drugs or placed a tack in your shoe to falseify the results. Be careful of who you take your advice from....

It's quite possible to beat a polygraph (without drugs or tacs) but you need to be formally trained or an extreme sociopath to do so.

Don't risk it.

Yeah I had to take a polygraph, but i am a horrible liar, so I was simply lucky that I had a cool tester. They formulate the questions. Can only be "yes" or "no" answers. If you can lie well you can pass because the test looks for physiological responses, such as increased heart rate, sweat production, body movement, it cannot read your mind.
