I just competed on Saturday, what I did for the last three days was gradually decrease my water as I carbed up. Basically on Wednesday carbs were at 200g/day split between 8 meals, water was at 1 gallon, take an aldactone with meals 2 and 6. Thursday- - - 250g carbs split over 8 meals, 1/2 gallon water aldactone with meals 2 and 6, half a dyazide 1 hr. after each aldactone. Friday - - - 300g carbs split over 8 meals, very little water with each meal before 6pm, then cut all water. Diuretics same as thursday. Eat the same carbs you've been eating throughout your diet, for me yams, brown rice and oatmeal. On Saturday only drink sips when you need to, try to avoid drinking as much as possible.
