I'm 5'3", 112lbs, around 14% BF. I am 4 weeks out from my first competetion and would like to drop another 5 lbs. I ran a 6 week cycle of T3 (just finished a week ago) with good results. I do 45 minutes of cardio every morning, my calories are about 1200-1300/ with 150 gm protien, 80 carbs. I was doing cardio before breakfast, but everyone noticed that I was losing muscle. So now I eat oatmeal w/protein powder an hour before and that has made a huge difference. I'm at a sticking point right now..any suggestions? I'm doing ECA stack right now.
 
Change up your cardio mode/duration/intensity? Maybe change a couple cardio sessions to HIIT (high intensity interval training)?

Cycle the carbs? Or just start dropping them down.
 
Totally agree with the HIIT.

What federation is your competition based? I'm asking since some, like the NPC, don't necessarily go for "too lean" figure gals (JJFigure correct me, if I'm wrong here); while the NABBA certainly does.

I have always thought that figure competitors needed to hold a bit more fat than fitness; and fitness a bit more than competitive bodybuilders.

This doesn't make sense. Why run a cycle of T3, which by the way is catabolic and will cause you to lose muscle, then stop it 4 weeks from the show and have to endure a several week period of mild hypothyroidism while still trying to lean out?

and watch how lean you get or you'll end up at the bottom of the pile. They're going for a look, not sure what that look is, but it isn't lean in figure.

My competition is NPC. What % BF do you think figure girls should aim for? What do you think about running a cycle of Anavar...at what dosage??
 
Anavar will help gain lean muscle, not reduce body fat. You are only 4 weeks out, it won't do a whole lot to help you. And at 4 weeks out, it's all diet and cardio tweaking.

I don't know if anyone can give you an exact BF% to be, it is all going to depend on how you carry the BF and the amount of muscle you have.

Have you been to an NPC Figure show? That is the best way to figure out what to aim for - go to shows, look at pictures, and see if you can get an idea of what the judges are looking for. The more "research" you do on the federation, the better idea you'll have on what to do to get there.
