Considering my first cycle at 42..please help?

This is my first day and post on here. Very appreciative of this forum.

I have been working out pretty consistently since I was 14 when I was 135 lbs. I am now 42 and a muscular 235 lbs and have never done any drugs or steroids during that entire time but after 28 years I want to try to achieve some goals in my training that I can not get to. I am thankful for all the years of training and the sport has saved my life for sure. I also have done just about every supplement out there.

At this stage I feel I have pretty much hit the wall. I always wanted to bench the 4-45lb plates on each side but never could achieve it. I max out now at about 340 and want to hit 415. Highest ever is 370.
I also feel my testosterone levels may naturally be going down as well as HGH. Sex drive is good but not what it used to be as well as motivation. I still do my workouts consistently but find I am going through the motions more.

I was wondering if someone could suggest (in laymans terms) a good starting cycle for me. I am would like to put on maybe 15 lbs of bodyweight, get stronger and help with some of the things I described. I want to go safe as possible with no dangerous sides. Keep in mind I am a complete novice in this area and I am not sure what some of the initials are lol. Money is not an issue and I think I can get access to most of the things I would need. Any help, advice is appreciated very much.
 
Hi. I'm 47 and switched to gear from a lifetime of clean living for exactly the same reason as you.

Once you get to a certain age muscular development is hard to come by, so if you could not reach your ideal bench at a young age there is no way you are going to do it now, being clean.

Try testosterone propionate, it is the best out of all the testosterones as it is in and out of your system fast and has the least side effects, very powerful as well.

Also mix in any of the following: deca, equipoise, primobolan or anavar, this is to protect your joints, ligaments, tendons etc which i assure you, you will be feeling very soon.

Stamina work is good,as is hgh and igf-1, which you may wish to consider at a later date.

I think get a few good cycles under our belt at first and the much neede experence that comes with it.

Would do a simple cycle with test,but i would have used test E/C for less pinning(just me lol). Maby added Turinabol to kickstart with the first 4 weeks.

Started for the same reason as you guys :) I'm 40 now and started using this spring. Felt my sex drive was going (a bit) down and working out was not as exiting as it used to bee. Joints and tendons sore.
On my second cycle now and everything is up, if u know what I talking about:p.

My first cycle included Test E, Dbol and Deca. 12 weeks. Pay attention to PCT. I use Nolva and clenbuterol (anticatabolic for me) gained about 6 kgs and nice strenght gains BF down for sure. AND feeling just fine all the time;)!!!

Second Cycle just finished: Test prop, Dbol, Tren. 12 weeks. Rocked!

Just maintain a good balance in your lifestyle and this stuff just add a new dimention too it all.

Perfect candidate!

1) At your age, you could easly get a prescription to testosterone and/or HGH if you want it. There are obviously informal channels to get it as wel.

2) I'd start with a test-only cycle. My first cycle ever (at 36) was 200 mg/week, which in retrospect may have been too low. I do 300 mg/week cycles now (6 years later) and I love them.

3) If you really want to stack something, use HGH. It's expensive, but for old farts like us (I'm 42 as well), it's magic. Most people who don't report good things from HGH are younger than us.

I personally would do:

- week 1-10: 300 mg/week (or up to 500, but no more) test blend
- week 3-10: armidex at 0.5 mg EoD
- week 1-10: 1,000 units HCG / week (one subq shot)

then, 10 days after your last test shot, I'd do:

1,000 units HCG ED for 10 days in a row.

Your first cycle is always big fun. You forget what all you've missed. I do lean toward smaller doses because for me, larger doses give me small incremental improvement and significantly more side effects.
 
300mg test e for a cycle and 100mg ew test e or c for trt. with that you will need adex. a doctor script is the best way to go for obvous reasons. if you chose to go it without the doc lear a bit first just by sticking around, reading, and asking questions. once you are ready rxhealthdrugs.com has the best ai's and serms. as far as getting the gear i would reccomend joining thesourcecheck.com and talking to people there.
 
You will have to get used to sticking yourself, but trust me it's no big deal at all. Use your glute and look for esters you can shoot once per week.

If you're US-based and get a physician's script, you can get a blend of testosterone propionate, ethanate and cypionate. You can shoot that 1/week just fine and it's no biggie. I personally use ethanate only and shoot it once per week, which some will tell you isn't frequent enough. I can't tell the difference between 1/week and 2/week for ethanate.
 
Welcome Stinger911 if you need help finding a HRT/ TRT Dr PM me. The good thing about getting it through a Dr is you dont have to worry about what youre putting into your body, I mean its not some bathtub mix of who knows what. Also they work out doses witth you, nice for someone just getting into it.

There is a Doctor in my area that does hormone replacement therapy with HGH and TEST and I was wondering if this would be a good and safe option. Says he is Harvard trained, 30 yrs in doing this and so on. He has a website with the info but he had a pic on there with no shirt which seemed strange but all good I guess. Any idea what kind of price I would be looking at for this type of deal?

Prescriptions really make life easier. You can travel with your gear, don't have to worry about GF's finding out and you don't have to sweat it when your package is a day late. It will almost certainly be more expensive, but you'll also get much better access to blood work, medical opinions and ancillary medications.

Just about any doctor who will write the prescription will do, but double-check his prescriptions against the advice of this board. I've been using the Anti-Aging Group since Sept 2004 and this board's advice is usually one to one and a half years in front of them.

P.S. Don't let him give you cream. Stick yourself with a test shot. It's so easy that you'd be embarrassed to think you were a little hesitant at first.
 
I did my first cycle at age 41 after a lifetime of natural training.

Here's what I suggest.

If you want to be as safe as possible, do a mild cycle of primobolan -- 400 mgs a week for 4 weeks. At your age, that's about all you can do and still recover completely. Do the HCG/UNLEASHED/ POST CYCLE PCT.

Or what may be even better is to simply get a blood test and see if you're elligible for HRT, in which case, a mere 100 mgs of T a week will make a tremendous difference. Then after a while you can add a little something to it (Tbol, or var) for a little mini cycle now and then.

That would be the smart way to go.
