I am all for raising the minimum wages to an extent. Just like with similar economic events (like tax increases) if the wages go too high, employers cannot afford it and they have to layoff people, which results in fewer jobs and also higher prices.

When employees wages go up, businesses transfer those costs to the consumers, when they cannot transfer those costs to the consumers, Ronald McDonald has to hire fewer people, or find more efficient ways to make their product or deliver their services.

Since you brought it up and Redguru seems to be upset about it, I'll tell yall.
OBama currently IS white. What I mean by that is the "my father was a goat herder from Kenya" crap is a facade and a smoke screen. He says those things to keep people watching the TV. IMHO He needs to stay clear away from the black issue because the more he talk about it the more he'll be marginalized. Anyway, He probably knew his dad for 2 days before he left them to be a drunk. His dad had little impact on his life. If he's smart he'll pick up Hillary which will make him more attractive to white blue collar voters.
This is what they're saying about OBama on black radio. They're saying "he's different" They're saying "He's not a Washington inside Politician" IMHO most of these radio stations are saying this simply because he's yellow. Obama probably stands for black people about as much as Jesse Jackson does which is about zero.

You should heave heard the reactions around here when Jesse made his comments about "I wanna cut his nuts off". Black folks around here stopped listening to him years ago... It's not like he walks the streets anyway. Personally I thought he was doing that cause it was a setup and to get press coverage. Apparently HE REALLY DID mouth off with his mic on by mistake because he has issues w/Obama. The man is sad and it's humorous to me that Redguru and others keep using his name as if anyone is paying attention to him. He got ripped bad around here
