Well can't argue with that as you threw in the "US only angle", though in the UK more and more people are now receiving a level of welfare that equals and even exceeds doing 40 hours minimum wage (which is obviously fucking ludicrous as it's supposed to be a short term aid while you get another job or w/e).

For *alot* of UK people, minimum wage jobs are for life, so why not just offer a wage where, ok, you won't be going to the Caribbean 3 times a year and driving a fancy European car, but at least you can afford to buy cable and cheap booze to kill the reality of how shit your life is, and thus have a lifestyle that is better than being on welfare with a long term "injury" or "illness".

Since you brought it up and Redguru seems to be upset about it, I'll tell yall.
OBama currently IS white. What I mean by that is the "my father was a goat herder from Kenya" crap is a facade and a smoke screen. He says those things to keep people watching the TV. IMHO He needs to stay clear away from the black issue because the more he talk about it the more he'll be marginalized. Anyway, He probably knew his dad for 2 days before he left them to be a drunk. His dad had little impact on his life. If he's smart he'll pick up Hillary which will make him more attractive to white blue collar voters.
