Well Aside from all the gay jokes I know pick 3 is a very Intelligent man and has alot to offer the people on ef he just needs a chance to shine.. And everyone loves him besides digger lol
It's based on a simple idea really; if certain members display the attitude and potential geared towards making EF a better place, they are deserving of a mentor or mod position. There is no direct correlation between that decision and join date. Traz fits this description and has come a long way in a short period of time.

"he needs a chance to shine..."
that's what we need to see before we make someone a mentor or a mod.
if you were hiring someone for a job, would you choose the guy who has already proven himself to be qualified, or the guy that might, if given a chance?
would you hire someone who's last job was filled with gay jokes? or racial slurs? how about constantly asking his last boss to see her ass? or complaining about the company? or fighting?
if not, then that's your answer as to why plenty of "good guys" aren't given the "chance to shine". being a member is your chance to shine.
I dont think being an Elite Mentor is a popularity contest. It would have to be someone who regularly contributes to the board (and not just chat) in a positive manner. Traz has done that, IMO. What's all the fuss about? A lot of dudes with their panties in a bunch. Stop your whining.
