MSNBC reported that %70 of men 18=36 have no interest or intent of getting married. 70 percent. there are more men out there who want a kid than want to get married.

anyone care to venture why that is? and please, i dont think that %70 of the tested populace is immature or whatever other baseless brush off the women on here give.

COULD IT POSSIBLY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT WOMEN ARE MOSTLY CHEATERS/MEAN BITCHES THESE DAYS.


AND TO ANY WOMEN WHO DOESNT THINK WOMEN DONT CHEAT MORE THAN MEN, DO A LITTLE RESEARCH AND FIND SOME STUDIES. YOU WILL FIND DIFFERENTLY. EVEN THE GUY ON "CHEATERS" SAID THAT 60-70% OF HIS CLIENTS ARE MEN TRYING TO FIND OUT IF THEIR WOMAN IS CHEATING.

prsonally i think men are far too good for women. kayne really touched on something: its men who are being cheated on.

men have been told for decades were pieces of shit who only care about the next piece of ass. seems like were changing, but women arent. who could blame them? when everyone goes out of there way to kiss your ass, im sure its easy to beleive your own hype.

the tide is rising. and soon it will spill over.

Generally speaking - most people shouldn't even consider marriage before 30 so it would be easy to stretch it to 36.

Why do they not want to get married?

Perhaps they are watching their peers get divorced the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time and it makes them think before jumping.


The reason why the ratio could possibly be higher for men than women not wanting to get married (is there any data for women?) is that woman or rather girls are still being instilled with *get a man - QUICK- to take care of you because you'll be an old hag before you know it and no one will want you*.

Exactly, to have any insight whatsoever we need the womens data too. Eg: What if 95% of women don't want to get married?

One stat doesn't show anything.
Who did they poll for the sample?

Plus the demographic is too broad. 25-36 is a much more 'valid' age group and I highly doubt that it is 70%.
