Foxxie what are you talking about, the start menu "shut down" button? You might have spyware that's freezing up your pc now and then, or you have too many programs running and it's taking too long to respond.

Right click an empty space on your desktop
Click "properties" (this will take you into the display properties)
Click the Screensaver tab
Click the Power tab
Click the Advanced tab
you will see where it says "when i press the power button on my computer"
you then select the setting you want (shutdown, standby, hibernate or do nothing)
if you set it to shutdown , Windows will shut down your computer safely after pressing the power button just once.

Weird!! yeah I am talking about the the start menu "shut down" button. It also doesn't respond on the restart or log off button. I have to manually just click the power button on my keyboard. I know is not a good thing to shut your computer down like that. My computer is free of virus or spyware and I got pc protectors antivirus, spyware, window defender, security blah blah blah.
I try to look on the Window Task manager and look if theres too much programs that is still open well there's some but I dont think thats the issues or is it. I try to close some of them and i know I can't close some of them or my computer would freeze up or some I can't close bec it would damage some of the files on my computer.
