Hey,

I know this doesnt belong on this forum, but I dont visit the other forum so Im looking for help from you all. I had an ebay account, (I am selling a truck) in which I got a letter from ebay stating that my information was changed, etc. The person used my cc to put his stuff under my account. I called them and got it all straighten out, but i want to know more.

Can someone tell me how to find someone, or location through Ip address.

Here is the info that was used to change my account:

Change of email address request was made from:
IP Address: 195.93.60.101
ISP Host: 10.10.63.252

he is an aol user, it appears, probably in Texas from what I can tell.
Search Results for 195.93.60.101 [reverse DNS - cache-frr-ad05.proxy.aol.com

hey fellows,
Whoever it is must be hidden behind proxy servers, because i show it switching from N.Y./Germany etc...

why do you want to know where there from?

I know people, who know people, that know people, that will get who ever it is..

J/K, I would just like to know who spent over 800+ dollars on my credit card in less than 5 hours by putting things up for sale under my account.

Wouldnt you like to know?

Thanks for your help everyone... So is there no way to find out an exact location for something like this? With IP's changing all the time, if the person knows what they are doing, I would guess not...

identify theft or credit card fraud....could be labeled a federal offense......the feds can get a warrant from the ISP who should be able to check logs to see which customer was assigned that DCHP IP at the time it happened.....usually the ISP won't do this unless its requested by law enforcement.....and 99% of the time, they can track the location down

have you filed a report?

Report it to ebay they should assist the authorities but where was the money from your card spect (i.e. which Country) that will give yo a better idea than the IP
