It's always interesting how people interpret what they want from what you say to them.

In the past week I've had two women/clients twist what I've said into something else.

1 - Took "I'll look into it with accounting and call you back" to mean "She said that the bills all been worked out and I owe nothing".

2 - Took "I'll look to find someone available and call you back with when they can come" to mean "She promised to send someone over yesterday to fix such and such".

:eyes:

LOL....that is funny, but I also get a kick out of the fact that you seem to answer requests with, "I'll look into that and call you later." ;-)

i just look at their breasts and then suddenly come to and say, "i'm sorry, i wasn't paying attention".

oh man... do I hate that shit.

LOL

I know I was taught that by a mentor more than 10 yrs ago and it stuck. It's a polite way of saying a lot things like, "I have no clue what you're talking about and need to find someone that does so I don't sound like jackass talking to you."

I had another person ask me about CAT5 cable - I was like WTF - I don't know about CAT5, DSL? why did you get DSL - Why are you calling me about this - call the electrican. But I said, "I'll have to look into that and get back to you." Unfortunately - the electrican *horror* knew as much as I did. I'm still working on that one - OY. :worried:

You need some info on CAT5? PM me Vel, I may be able to help you. I deal with that shit daily here lately.

Generally speaking that's a classic man/woman (men are from mars, women are from ur-anus :FRlol:) thing and the misinterpretation goes both ways. . .although, it seems to me that women misinterpret men a lot more often. . .probably because most men don't even listen to women that are fully clothed.

However, you are a woman and these clients were women. . .you in the middle of a test cycle?? :)
