Ok, I did about a month worth of research, did my first batch of Trin 2 weeks ago, so I decided to tackle this as well. I do have some questions to those who have done the Solvenix or Component. But, a little background. I have decided to homebrew my own gear. So far in the last 4 month I have wasted $1,000 on basically fake, or very weak gear. So I did research and decided it was time to take matters into my own hands as I know that Finaplex and Component E H are real, they just need processed. Trin came out great thanks. Ok now with the questions on the Component E H.
I did everything text book. I added 4,000mg (4g) worth of the test prop pellets, crushed them up and added the heat. after about an hour they were fully dissolved. Here is where things got off. I didn’t have the right type of lye. So, I had to let the solution sit for 24 hours, and by the next day, the solution was very clear, with a hint of binders and glue at the bottom. I then filtered the solution through a coffee filter, which worked well. I ended up with about 215 ML of solution. I super saturated the lye, and added 3ml of this to the mix. I let sit for exactly 1 hour. At this point I had very cold distilled water and allowed to drip slowly through a 18 gage needle 500 ml of water. It took close to 200 ML before the water drops even started clouding the water, the after 350 ml of water each drop turned into white goo. It was very saturated with white looking foam when it was all said and do. Not the crystals that I was told it would make. Anyway, I filtered the solution through some high grade cotton fabric and it has taken me forever. I have spent the last 18 hours rinsing the white foam and haven’t even made it through 1 gallon of water yet (almost) and I was planning on using 1.5 gallons, so I might have it finished up tonight, it is taking forever. That is where I am at, so here are my questions.
1. Why didn’t I get the crystals? I did it the correct way vs. just adding in all the water.
2. How will I know if what I have left is Test base (no ester) or if I indeed used the lye the correct way to have saved the Prop ester? I do not have the ability nor the equipment to do a melting point test. I'm afraid I'll never know unless I continue to do EOD and see little gains.
3. What seems to be the best combo 3% BA 13% BB then oil, or 2% BA and 18% BB then the rest oil? I've seen people say both are the best. I wasn’t sure.
4. Last question, I ordered the Platinum kit from Finafarm, which is supposed to be painless, well it is far from painless. It feels like a bee sting right away, and then a bump appears after around 4 hours and stays for around 5 days. What gives?
