Given that AAS can increase RBC, is it possible the count might be lower than normal -after- your cycle is done? Does RBC production become supressed at all after AAS cycle is completed?
Probably not, but just wondering..

Baffling is right. So are your RBC levels that of Anemic? Your wbc could be low from an infection you might have had. Or maybe an allergic reaction to the gear. Ya, what gear also?

Check out this site and look at the possible causes. Your rbc went into a form of anemic state. http://tjsamson.client.web-health.c...eneralhealth/cardiovascular/blood/anemia.html

Something esle J..
"Before you got too worried about your RBC, WBC counts it may be a good idea to get them rechecked. Going straight to iron binfing studies may not be the right approach. There are many reasons why these two components may be low and most of them are not worrisome in any way. When you get rechecked, or if you have the lab data from the previous draw, helpful numbers would be the MCV (mean corpuscular volume - a measure of the average size of the RBC's), MCH (MCH - average of the mean hemoglobin content of the cells). Also there may hve been a "differential" done on the WBC's. This is not always done routinely. This would differentiate the types of whit blood cells that were present in the draw, mainly neutrophils and lymphocytes mainly by percentage of total WBC's present.

I see low WBC counts almost everyday in the ER and typically just ignore them unless there is some other indicator that I should not. They can be low from many different things. I see it in young healthy people to those who are terminally ill. Typically it is due to some sort of viral infection and rebounds when the infection clears. Low RBC's can be diet related or most likely just a lab error. It is not the most important indicie I look at when looking at a complete blood count (CBC). The more important things are the hemoglobin (HGB) and hematocrit (HCT). If there were normal in you then the low RBC thing become somewhat moot. A low HGB is what is referred to as anemia, a low "blood count".

The bottom line is this... a single abnormal lab result is rarely a concern. Your best bet is to wait a week or so and have it rechecked. Ask for a CBC with differential or even better talk to YOUR doctor about it and see what he/she thinks about it. It is always hard to answer medical questions via the internet as the most important part of making a diagnosis is a great history and a physical exam. Without talking to you in person and being able to lay my hands on you all of this banter would be better left in a book somewhere."

hope it helps, it seems like it isn't much of a concern.
