Competition/Photo Prep Diet

I've been doing lots of reading and everything is saying something different.. my final conclusions is that everyone reacts differnetly and there are so many variables that to give a planned pre contest diet would be imposible... tell me if i'm on the right track though..

I will be doing a carb rotation diet till about 8-10% bodyfat, then a keto diet but with carbs after workout until 1 week before comp..

Now this is where i'm kinda lost... here's some of my questions:

1. water... cut out or drink tonnes right up until 12 hours before contest..

2. carbs/fat loading... load up on carbs 3 days before then fat load as well the night before

3. supplements... going sauce free.... creatine load a few days before?? glutamine?? what else??

sorry for being kind of dumb to this but i'm completely lost and don' t have a mentor..
 
Are you carb sensitive, as in do you bloat up when you carb up? It's almost impossible to hit on your first try. I'll try to get back to you on this. You also have to worry about sodium manipulation.

ya i bloat up like crazy from carbs and store bodyfat very easily...endomorph....thanks for looking into it for me... i really appreciate it...
 
f you're carb sensitive, the plan I was going to reccomend might fail. Do a search on fat loading, sodium manipulation and carb loading, thats the best advice I have, for now. I'll see what else I can dig up.
