So it ends up me VS him and his friends because my friends just arent there. Well we fight, about 5-6 mins, they cant get me off him, just cant, so theyre pushing/pulling and finnally im next to the wall now. Next thing i know im getting tacked, not beat up, just they are trying to break it up, so i get tacked into the wall. FACE SCRAPED THE ENTIRE WALL. SON OF A BITCH. I GOT A FAT LIP from the fight, THATS IT, but my face looks like roadkill because of the fuckin wall. imagine,

It shouldnt hinder my 500 tho, now i just look like i fell off a motorocyle lol
BUT imma take today off. and TOM i think the gym is closed, so ill have a "forced" rest. since i havnt had more then 2 days off in about 2 months, this is goinng to really help me heal.

Thanks for the tips, im using neosporin + pain relieve right now. The cut is alot more cleaner now since seing the DR. in fact, its almost light pink, most of it.

I was scared too, but im realizing now it honestly is not that deep, even tho it looks bad, DR said i should be fine. And i have to stay out of the sun for minimum scarring.

Also, DR. checked my vitals, and said i had the heart of a triathelete, pulse was 52. And my BP was perfect. So besides my face im in preety good health.

And Bunny!! i know right! it seems too goddamn crazy, but i guess its because im from the good ol' city of NY. alot of crazy wackos here.

BUT im hoping because of my diet/vitamins, this thing heals quicker then an avg persons would.

That looks like it hurts. Shit. Agreed with CK. Aloe Vera really helps with making it feel better. I'd still go back and beat his ass for the inconvenience.

Besides, my lip got punched from him, thats it, but the scratch was from everyone trying to hold me back/break it up so i got pushed into the wall, went to DR today, told me i was going to be fine, stay out of the sun, so ill listen because its on my face.

Do you think aloe vera will help with scarring?
 
Found this on aloe vera:

The effects of topical antibacterials were studied in an acute wound healing model. Sprague-Dawley rats after appropriate anaesthesia received four 1.5 cm[2] dorsal defects through the skin and panniculus carnosus. Skin defects were treated for 14 days with 2% mupirocin ointment, 1% clindamycin cream, 1% silver sulfadiazine cream + Aloe vera gel, and silver sulfadiazine combined with Aloe gel. An untreated group served as controls. Each group was comprised of 10 animals each to achieve statistical significance. Wound closure rate was assessed by serial planimetry. Following healing, the breaking strength of each resultant scar was determined. Wound half-lives and overall healing rates were calculated by regressing the log of the areas of all wounds over time. Overall healing rates of all the treated groups were significantly different compared with control group (p<0.05). The Aloe group had the shortest half-life and healed faster than the control group. All the other treated groups had no longer half-lives when compared with the control group. While silver sulfadiazine + Aloe increased the breaking strength of the healed wound, Aloe alone did not, but demonstrated an increase over the control. Topical Aloe significantly enhances the rate of wound healing and when combined with silver sulfadiazine reverses the wound retardant effect observed with silver sulfadiazine. Clindamycin and mupirocin significantly delay wound closure. However mupirocin enhanced the breaking strength of the wound.

I saw one doctor on Fox News a while ago saying you shouldn't use it for a week after the injury but it always helped for me. And it does help reduce scarring from what I read.

I know what you mean. Nobody wants to fight one on one anymore. Somebodys always gotta stick their nose in and help out. Fuck it.

One more punch wouldn't hurt though. :) lol
 
Well guys. Back to work tomorrow. That means back to cardio. Either gonna hit the gym, for a light session on the Xtrainer, or go for an easy bike ride in the evning, on wifey's bike.
I'll lay off the weights for another week, before I start easing back on.
 
Damn MM I missed all the fun. Well cituations like those give me modivation in the gym. I put on some Metal think about me about getting ready for a fight. And then instead of punching someone I lift. It gets me more worked up then anything. About the man to man thing..... that shit just dont happen. I would like it too but it never does. Consider yourself victorious. As long as I stand up formyself, fight like its my last day on earth, and live, I feel that I have won. I dont have any pics of my battlewounds but I have mad more then my fair share. Great memories. Hope no one fucks with us at the arnold! :)

I started back to work yesterday. Man was I tired & sore by the end of the day. No cardio yesterday. I'm hoping today I'll have some of my old energy back.

Alright Have been hella busy lately and finally got to the gym after a 4 day break. Again stronger then ever and felt good. To bad time is almost up. Kept all my weight gain with eating shitty and not drinking enough water. Looked more toned up then ever when Dehydrated out on the water. :) good and bad thing. Need to start pre cooking meals at new job. Grocery shopping tommarow. How is everyone else doing.

MM- did you get either my PM or EmaiL!?
 
I'm too weak to get any kinda workouts in after a full day working. Not doing any bending or lifting, but my freakin ribs are still killin me.
I miss the workouts, really. My "therapy" sessions, LOL.

Yea bun this new job is I got was as a cars salesmen. haha beleive it or not. A lot different from welding but holy shit do I need to learn a lot. Time to train. Wish i could bullshit more but to busy. Girl wants to see me tonight..... Im going to beat it up like it owes me money!

We usually eat out at a fish place once a week or 2. So tonight will make it twice, that it's not been home cooked.
Haven't really been "dieting", but I haven't eaten much, still hovering about -7 to -8 pounds.Hopefully by next week I'll be able to start some cardio, at least.
You have a good weekend too.

Every time I freakin sneeze, it feels like I'm ripping open!

July = body fat 15.9%, not 16 but 15.9!!!

She is sending me via email all my measurements and the new program for the next 3 weeks, going to be maxing out this week at the gym.

Doing a different competition, this one is on September 16th.

WOW, that's freakin awesome ck. Glad to hear it. Yeah, when yer gettin into those lower bf numbers, every 1/10th counts.

I'll be passing on that, 'til I get my rehab over with & some workouts under my belt. Man I miss working out. It's my therapy.

Thank you, if i place in the top three then I qualify for Team canada, one can only dream, I just am looking forward to not falling off the stage at this point.

I feel for you, In september I couldn't work out for 4 months! but came back stronger and you WILL TO! When will you be getting the clearance from the doc to resume normal activity?

I see the Doc a week from today. Then, I'll prolly have another coupla weeks.
Went for my first bike ride last night. 15 minutes, went great, so I'll be able to start that again.

Training is going good as always. Finally curled 110 for 4 reps. A new PR for me. Put on a little chub die to bad diet but it will go quick. Hoepfully will put on about 5 lbs in the next 2 weeks. Make my total about 16lbs gained, and thats with a low cal diet the first 3 weeks. Hick=Happy with results.

haha the cycle is going good. The diet is going fair. Yes I get my protien in but right now I have to settle to 3-4 big meals a day, instead of 6. But soon that will change. I cant complain about my results. I have not put on any fat, and have gained hope for about 15 lean pounds of muscle. I dont look that much bigger in a mirror because everything porportionally went up. And I am fine with that. Still got plenty of chub on me but I know what I have to do to take care of it and I dont really care that I have it. My girlfriend also doesnt really care about my AS use. Sure she doesnt like it, but when we are having sex she sure does. Lotta quanity going on there :p . The only thing that I am dissapointed in was that my bench didnt get above 260 yet. Maybe by the end of cycle. I am running it for 12 weeks. Still no bad sides, with little bloat. I gotta eat then go lift. Then nap, then club, then sleep, then back to work. Hows all going with you guys?

I'm seriously not impressed with my surgery. There is a bump at the bottom of my sternum, looks like a friggin ski ramp. & could hang my MP3 player from it when I do cardio.
I see the Doc on Tuesday & find out what the deal is.

Just saw part of a show on The Learning Channel, called The Man Who's Arms Exploded. This guy named Gregg Valentino used a friggin ton of synthol & the show documented some of his pain & suffering, arm leaking blood, etc. They ascribed it to steroid use. Their ignorance is amazing. :confused: :faint:
 
Went for my first bi-cycle ride today, since the operation. 20 km, had a nice break at the 12 km mark, to see a cruise night & parade. Only a few minutes slower than before. Partly fueled by 4 C.B. Felt great.

I've red his articals, I think in MD. He's an asshat wannabe. He's prolly close to my age, yet acts & talks young thinkin his 'tude & game make him somehting special.
 
so my new, awesome trainer decided to see just how much I could lift and I must say I am pretty impressed with me!

bench press- 100
Leg press - 450
shoulder press - 80
lat pull down - 105

She now has me bulking a bit to get more definition in certain areas (triceps, hamstrings, calves) she said the bis were good but she wants them a little bigger. New competition date is September 16th, doing a different show.

This week off to the mountains to workout! I hope everybody has an awesome week!

Had my first workout last night. Just did some squats & some shoulder stuff. Did just over 2/3 of my preop stuff. No probs except for weakness (it's been 3 wks since any weight training).
Saw my Doc today. He's got me scheduled to go back to work the beginning of next week. Too bad I've already been back 2 wks. I'm also not supposed to lift anything over 11# until I got back to work. Guess I'll have to stop doing those 215# squats. :lmao:
I'm really looking forward to getting back into it. I can't afford therapy, so iron is all I gots.

LOL, the last case of beer I really bought was at Easter. That was a 6 pack & there's still 2 left.
MD laughed when I told him I was back to work already. Said he always gives people the outside timeline. Receptionist said I should take the other 2 weeks off. Like I don't want to work or something. I love my job.

haha. Sorry guys. I have been REAL busy with this new job. I am trying to make as many sales as the Vets there and am doing so..... but I have to work my ass off and they can just sit there. But they say I am doing real good so thats all I wanted. Interesting job thats for sure.

Hidin... I had more then my fair share of beers. They had shots of crown royal for 2.50.... and I went threw 60 dollars not including the drinks my buddys bought me. I was hammered. Had a good time and got a cheap hotel and banged my girl like the whore that she is. Just kidding. Shes a good girl. Why do good girls like bad guys?

My cycle is now to a end. My last shot is today and HCG starts tommarow. I feel it went good. I wish I could have got more cardio in, but shit happens. I cant wait to do some measurments and get some pics when I get some time. I put on about 15 lbs with not much fat at all. I wanted 25, but I am curious on how potent the product really was. And I started my diet off on 2 low of calories. Also this job change kinda fucked me up, it wasnt planned and it was hard to eat right, train, and work with a whole new schedual. Ill prob start my next in about 9 weeks.

haha for sure. Workouts are my time by myself that no one can bother me. I need the time or else I carry to much shit inside and let things build up. Let the weights have it and forget about it. I have a bad anger/temper so it keeps me in check.

Husband and I went away for the week. We actually climbed a mountain! rode our bikes up another mountain everyday to go to the gym and went horseback riding and swimming! It was nice, relaxing and fun.

HiDn - how are you feeling now?

Not bad, but I'm weak as a kitten. Need to get the strength up, & I can resume progress. Didn't gain any weight, so that's a bonus.

I pretty much blew it the last day and had a lot of beer the night before and fast food coming home, and not enough water. Looked at the scale and gained 10 pounds, arrrrr but I know all is not lost. Back at it again tomorrow hard. No more room for cheats now. smack me upside the head if I do. I figure all the workouts and hiking made up for it, or at least that is what hubby is trying to convince me off. It was worth it though I missed the kids so much we almost came home a day early. Taking them to the lake for the day tomorrow. It is HOT here +32.

oh yeah, didn't get to run my 8k, I hurt my back,arrrrrrrrrr. But the hike up the mountain was 6k and we did it in a hour so I think that made up for it.

Chest workout, I lifted about 80% of my pre-op weight. It was extremely hard, & because I had been lacking in shoulder work my shoulders were troublesome.
Wow, deja vue. I seem to recall someone else emphasizing water intake, too. :chomp:
Don't worry about it. The time off from structured work was a good mental break. Now you can attack you strategy with renewed vigor. Good luck

Well, I leg presses and toe presses 300 pounds today! and I have been drinking so much water last night and today the bathroom is my new home, I am thinking of painting it a new colour!

It was hot this morning. Had a line of T-storms go through. Been nice & cool. Still got a little sweat tho.

We were supposed to, arrr but it doesn't look that way now, yesterday it was +34 now it is +31. Though my hubby did vacuum today, hee hee. Have a good workout later. I want a full report!

OK, well I washed the upstairs & downstairs bathrooms. Did the sinks & toilets, shower stall & tub. I washed both bathroom floors & washed the kitchen floor while I was at it. I cooked supper, skinless BBQ chicken legs & thighs, steamed broccoli & Liptons noodles & sauce. Plus I vacuumed the rec room. That's it for this year, LOL.

face is all healed, this weekend its time for me to hit the sun alittle.

ive been putting on subblock but now its time to go raw in the sun.

its still little pink,but thats because i got no tan there.

thank god its gonna heal w/o scarring.
 
Hi guys. Been gone a while. New job and all keeps me busy. As well as my girlfriend :p . training is still going well. Doing more compound powerlifting workouts due to lack of time. Still getting a good 4-5 days a week. Diet slacking due to work. The more I become comforatble at the new job the easier it will be. Gotta balance my shit out right now and carrer comes before play. Wish I had more time.

Thank you!!! I am glad you are working through things, I suppose carring a 4 liter jug around work isn't an option anymore. try to precook everything the night before to bring it to work (or have your girlfriend help ;o)) I always pack hubbies lunch, granted he has to bring 15 tupperware containers but then it is all there.

Hick, jump on the 5x5 plan im telling you, if u pinched for time its 3x week. Quick 1hr workouts. Youll get strong as hell. You already are, and i never thought the 5x5 plan would really work as good as it did.

why not pick up some muscle milk for quick snacks?
 
Awww, I knew there was a reason I came back, you guys are making me blush.... kay done.... now everybody "KILL THAT SHIT today for me! My workout SUCKED SO very very bad today! But it is ok, I am overtrained, gotta take tomorrow off, well weights, still going to do cardio.

I'm mowing my lawn this aft, for cardio. I'll do weights after supper, then some more cardio, with the lights out. :p

MM I will be getting my mucsle milk tonight. I cant even think about diet right now. I dont even have to time to precook a lot of time. Its alright. I have been eating shitty but still get my protien in and have held most of my mass and still look decent. So oh well.

I think I am starting to look like amazon woman, hee hee. everybody is now telling me I am getting huge (not fat :) , well I hope that isn't what they mean :worried:

My sister and brother don't live in my province, they just found out I was going to compete and they laughed at me :evil: I handled it!

I need to make sure I hit the gym the rest of the week. Diet is still bad but ill be "okay" as long as I get to the gym.

My girl can cook, but not the best. I rather just make it myself. Its hard to eat pre cooked meals everyday for lunch cause I just want to get the hell outta the office. But I will soon. I will go to the gym everyday. I cleared my PMs. :)
