At combines college football players are tested in ho wmany times they can bench 225 id like to hear wut some of you got compared to the pro's...im aimimg for about 38-40 at my first real pro scouting combine

If I practice it for a few weeks, anywhere from 29-33. It is a test of muscular endurance, rather than a true indicator of upper body strength. I've had better numbers on that than some 500lb benchers.....and 500lbs would paste me to the bench, lol.....if the NFL knew what every college S and C coach knew, they would change that assinine test to a 1 RM or reps to failure at 315.

40 or more reps will absolutely leave jaws on the floor.

a couple of sets of 20 last time as a backdown.. God knows now, maybe 25-30 if I was fresh?

as a parallel, there was a contest on FI (I think) last year to see who could do the most reps in the deadlift with 405.. there were several people who could do more than Brent Mikesell, but something tells me a 300lb+ man with a 1100 lb squat is going to be a teeny tiny bit stronger than I am no matter how many times I can rep a lighter weight

I looked around a little bit and found this posted on T-Nation. I can't say how accurate it is but it might give you an idea:

"During the Fiesta Bowl they mentioned that Mike Kudla, OSU's graduating defensive end, was trying to break the NFL Combine record which is 43 reps of 225 set by Scott Young in 2005."

In other words, you'll turn heads if you rep 225 40 times. What are your stats?
