Do you often wonder if the certain companies put some type of drug into their coffees?
Ok I know that caffeine in itself is an addictive substance..However, there are times (most all the time) that other brands taste like crap and I am not satisfied with.Seems as though the only good coffee any more is Dunkin Donuts, I cannot even drink the perk shit any more.

Just like one brand of beer or bottled water does not taste like another...
 
It don't matter to me as long as I have french vanila creamer. At the house we buy 8 o'clock whole beans and have a coffee pot that grinds and brews all in one. Fresh beans are the way to go.

I have tried the french vanilla creams..It is not the same as dunkins
 
A good friend of mine has a coffee plantation in Kona, after what she told me goes into the whole process, I have tried to go organic. She sends me coffee occasionally and its killer. She has also mentioned the brewing process via perk. bad, bad, bad... the plastic tubes, and corrosion is not good for you at all. I figure if it's going to be my only real daily vice, it better be good. So I go organic and I use a press, (thanks mom).

So does organic taste as good as the reg crap?

I don't think coffee is a vice at all, perhaps a miracle drug.

btw, is coffee beans the only thing your friend grows?

If it's drip coffee, it's REAL Kona or nothing. If it's espresso it's Starbucks Espresso roast or nothing. I have tons of both at home and have my own espresso machine. I love it. Saves me a ton of money and time and I have perfected a 5 shot grande mocha like starbucks, u could not tell the difference. I am a coffee king.

I was going to buy one here recently and was very surprised to get one for my birthday. It was about an 80 or 90 dollar hamilton beech machine. I think it does really well. You can pay thousands of dollars for one but I really think for my useage which is once every morning, this machine is just fine.

Where is a good place to get real kona?
 
yeah, they put drugs in the beans....has nothing to do with the quality of the bean, or the roasting technique, or the quality assurance to make a good product...it's drugs in the beans! DRUGS!

I have gotten half pounders in the past to see if I like it and I did, so I ordered a 5 lb bag about a year ago and I may do that again soon. It's slightly more expensive that "regular" coffee, but I like my coffee strong and rich and this is in my opinion the best there is. I don't drink that much regular drip anymore, maybe once every 2 weeks as espresso is my daily morning drink. I have had some kona espresso that was DY-NO-MITE but it's so hard to find and very expensive. Enjoy!

absolutely not! she has a farmmmm... something obscene like 80 acres... with all sorts of greenery growing wild upon it. Dude, she picks coffee all day, has to be another reward besides good java and $$$.

Organic? I can't really tell. I just know it's not full of pesticides and it's tastes damn good!! I like Peet's Coffee too, Major Dickasens is KILLER..!!!!!!
 
Buncha wusses in here. I drink my coffee in the form of a semi-liquid syrup and mix it with ground up ephedrine and adderall instead of cream or sugar. Five or six of those usually gets me going.
