Codeine and getting high.

Now before I start, I know what codein si, how addictive it is, how dangerous it is. I probably know more opiate horror stories than most here.

I am just goinf through a tough time right now and I'd rather get high tonight than get drunk(and I DO mean just tonight).
Today, I find myself in possesion of 20 DF118's(30mg Dihydrocodeine tabs).

I have taken 300mg(which I know is not dangerous and seems about right for the recreational dose considering the BNF states that 30mg of Dcodeine = 1mg of morphine).

Right now I like I'm flying, totally destressed and relaxed but not fucked(otherwise i could'nt type this right).

I know side fx include itching and occasionaly vomiting(got Maxalon IM(antiemetic) for the latter) and constipation.

Any other people use this? Anything else I should know about...... I can see how people get hooked on opiates, they are nice. In years of working with them this is the first time I've used them recreationally.

I am coping, but I just needed 'something' tonight, I have friends and they've been very supportive. Tonight I just wanted to be on my own.

Actually, I am kinda pissed at myself, I have NEVER 'needed' any drug in my life other than endogenous adrenline. But I feel great and I don't plan on making a habit out of this.

We will speak, but not tonigt i am too fucked and as i said I wanna be on my own; even though I'll have the computer on in the background for the next hour.

Dballer, yeah, in the unlikely event I don't use 'em tonight, I will dispose of the remaining.

All I could day is lay on my recliner, with a 'wow' expression on my face. Moving wasn't an option. A very nice, mellow high.

Yet, due to it's addictive capabilities, I'm sticking to my dope.

30's.. I think they were white eleptical shaped pills that came in a pop-out foil thing. They were from europe. We do not use Codiene here. It is not as effective to get people addicted.

I hate that shit.. I fucking hate it.

You need a lot, at least ten. I don't know how much is in Tylenol(not available here under that brand name).

I have taken all twenty now, 20mg of Valium.

Remember guys that Dihydocodeine is MUCH MUCH more potent the plain codeine or codeine phosphate.

I don't think you can get Dihydrocodeinen in the US. Here you can get D-codeine in injectable form and it's a Class B drug like speed.

However, codeine is not a controlled drug.

I've done 600mg now and I'm getting very very high. The diazapam will kick in shortly.....

No way.

Dihydocodeine 30mg = 1mg of morphine.

50mg+ of morphine is the toxic dose.

I have taken 20 tabs throughout the evening and I can still type this.

you can order that Dihydro stuff. it is pretty cheap. There is some online pharmacys that carry it. They come from Spain.

Thanks mate, I intend to. I know this isn't the answer, and use you know, in our business having an opiate habit will completly destroy you professionally.

The worrying thing is that this was not actually that difficult to get(know the environment), it's actually a well known fact the many medical professionals have drug addiction issues. Nope, I'm not losing my career(which I may just be holding onto anyway) for a high.

I have actually been written up for diazapam and lorezepam, my Dr(who I have an excellent relationship) even scripted me for 5 amps of Diazamuls.

I can't believe what I'm saying, I am just so scared...... not so much HIV but about losing the job I love, I know that I could still work in nursing but not in my particuallar area.

Today I got the result back, I have no detable levels in my body which means I did'nt have HIV before I was stabbed. I am also told even if the test is clear after 3 months, they have to do another test 3 months after this first test to be complety safe.... 6 months in all

I may just do some agency work in nursing homes(agency nurses generally are not allowed to do bloods, and I'll be very catrfull with univeral precaution for other contact), or maybe even have a study break..... I could maybe do my fasttrack mental health diploma.... then I'll be dual registered! Would help me on this forum!

I was working in Accident and Emergency doing a nightshift covering for a friend.

Basically, I was trying to pull off a patient that was getting physically aggresive to one of my colleages. He state going crazy, hitting her, hitting me, so I grabbed him around the torso locking his arms inside my grip. By this time security are feet away. He stcj something in my leg which people saw was a needle and syringe and proceeded to me inject me with the contents in the leg.... it happened so quick. I puched him virtually unconcious....


Anyway, his recordd indicated he was HIV+, the syringe looked like it contsined blood, later analysis confirmed this.

Percoset, Percodan and my most favorite of all: OXYCONTIN I just recently got a script for oxycontins (30 of the 20mg ones and ANOTHER 30 for the 10mg ones). Needless to say, i was feeling like a KING in his throne LOL BUT.......be careful. No..........I just got back surgery on Feb. 20th. But, as to your comment, i do get migraines as well. I'm off the oxy's so that isnt the problem, i was just making a statement on which painkiller is the best or most powerful. What's the reason for your flame at me?

Maybe but I took dihydrocodeine which contain NOTHING but dihydrocodeine. They are not at ALL harmfull to the liver

I think in this country the product you are refering to is known as co-codamol. This contains paracetamol and codeine phosphate(less potent than dihydrocodeine). The ratio is 500mg/30mg. Other trade names include Tylex.

Oxycodone is supposed to be excellent, I cannot obtain any though(legally) as it is a controlled drug here.

Anyway, I am straight tonight other than for 30mg of Diazapam.

Julez does'nt do opiates as a rule...... maybe one day I'll try diamorphine but I'll make sure it is pharmaceutical grade, not some shit smuggled into the country in some blokes ass from Pakistan or North Korea.
