I don't normally post much, but now I feel the need. Just making you guys n gals aware of 3 Coast Guardsmen missing of the eastern coast of Mobile Bay, Alabama. The Helo went down on a training mission between 6-7:30 central time tonight. They rescued 1 of 4 crew members so far. There is a good chance the others are done...due to water temps. I'm a former member of the USCG unit that is currently searching for those missing. Just asking for prayers for those that that risk their lives to save others. I can assure you that those missing are high quality people! That is all.

I am very sorry to hear that, I work with USCG members daily (we repoint their satellites) and those I have dealt with are all great people, I really wish they would show up.

When are you going? regardless of the results please keep us up to date and best of luck man!

Thank you, but I should clarify two things. 1-I'm no longer a service member...I was just saying I used to be stationed at the small boat station just a few nautical miles from the accident. They are the main search unit on the surface. I've been out a few years now. And 2-the status of the single crewmember that was recovered has not yet been released to the public, but you can read between the lines and see that it isn't a positive outcome. Same with the others. Very sad. Flag was at half mast today. Not good. God bless their families and all the service members that serve to protect the greatest nation on planet earth!
