clubs in cancun

Just wondering if anyone has been to cancun in the last 2 years and what clubs play the best dance music, none of that hip hop crap. I was in Acapulco last year and the clubs played great music there. Just wondering if there were any similar to that in cancun. I was in cancun 4 years ago and there was too much hip hop rap stuff, I need more techno, trance, house and what not.

Coco Bongo fuckin blows, nothing but a tourist trap. Go there if you like Ricky Martin or Michael Jackson. I have been to cancun 7x. I think i have to retire though, I am 28.

Coco Bongo is probably a tourist trap.

It's still a pretty good experience under the right circumstances. Some of the floor shows are lame as hell though.

La Boom was absolutely the BEST though! Great DJ, atmosphere, women.

It all depends on what time of the year you go... if it's during Spring Break, I'd probably elect to spend every night at La Boom, myself....

But, if you go during off-season months, the rotation I mentioned above is probably your best bet for "where the party is". Cancun is like any other town pretty much, in that different nights, there are better clubs to go to for that particular night, population-wise.

If you hit acapulco, you should deffinitely hit the PALADIUM. awesome club.

If you're into not sleeping, drugs, sex, booze and pretty much partying Rock star style then, Cancun is the place you wanna go to! Cancun kicks fucking ass!! Alcapulco is more of relax and take the family and kids.

If in Cancun you need to hit La Boom. There aren't any specific days to go really. Remember you're in a vacation spot not your hometown club and lounge man. I hit La boom Wed through Sat and the fucking place rocked everynight I went! From charlie on the tables lined up for everyone to thong and bikini contest!

Senior Frogs on the other hand is more of a let's wear our cargo shorts and wife-beater's out, get our bucket of beer and piss in the corner kinda place. They have a water slide on top of the joint that leads into the bay area. Not my kind of water but hey! You're fucked up who fucking cares!
