It's not that clomid itself makes you horny but by virtue of its mechanism - clomid blocks the inhibition of the HPTA and pituitary by estrogen... which in turn helps stimulate LH production which ultimately stimulates testosterone production.

well as of right now its about the same as on for me. im on 2nd week of pct and my sex drive is very similar to while im on. im on 100mg clomi and 40 mg nolva ed. this week was 150mg clomid and 40mg nolva last week. next week is same as this and fourth week is 50mg clomid and 40mg nolva. i do notice emotional swings from the nolva though.
and yeah krishna b4 you ask i decided not to extend my cycl for as long as i had planned but thats ok. save it for the next one.

does not make me horny. Load size did not increase. Made my depression go from managable to thinking of suicde. How much of this was from the clomid i don't know. But when I topped using it I felt better in a couple days. Under better circumstances it may have been ok..

Why don’t we use Clomid, another SERM? Well, basically because it takes much more to do the same thing. In comparison, it would require 150mgs of Clomid to accomplish that type of elevation in testosterone, but Nolvadex also has the added benefit of significantly increasing the LH (Leutenizing Hormone) response to LHRH (LH-releasing hormone) (6). This most likely indicates some kind of upregulation of the LH-receptors due to the anti-estrogenic effect Nolvadex has at the pituitary. Although both Nolvadex and Clomid are both SERMs, they are actually quite different. As you already know, Nolvadex is highly anti-estrogenic at the hypothalamus and pituitary, while Clomid exhibits weak estrogenic activity at the pituitary (7), which as you can guess, is less than ideal. It should be avoided for the PCT I’m suggesting…and in fact, avoided in general…it’s simply not as good as Nolvadex.
Need I even add that the 150mgs of Clomid you need to get the hormonal increase experienced with 20mgs of Nolvadex is much more expensive? So lets dump the Clomid…and no, using it along with Nolvadex will provide no “synergy” that I’ve ever seen in any relevant study.

bout the teen girl depression thing. last cycle's pct i was in the second week. I forgot what i was watching (something on lifetime, or oprah, or something), I thought about my girlfriend and started to almost cry.
i thought to myself what the f*ck is wrong with me? that's why I never go over 3 weeks on clomid.
