FSH and DHT
it may be related to clomid's main design. the drug was designed as both an estrogen-competetive antagonist and a gonadotropin stimulant. both of these activities will on occasion cause unwanted side-effects due to their acute hormonal manipulation.
women tend to suffer negative effects from the lack of estrogen. men tend to suffer from the FSH and LH stimulation which affects not only androgens, but many other parts of the brain. This means that using HCG could also do it, but not as strongly as Clomiphene because HCG is exogenous gonadotropins, whereas Clomiphene is endogenous gonadotropins, and endogenous production to excess levels can have more pronounced effects (in other words, if you could stimulate your testes to produce 800mg of testosterone, you'd suffer stronger side effects than if you injected a similar amount)(i could discuss the difference btw endo and exo side effects, particularly the multiple cascade reactions which cause the differences, but it would take an entire encyclopedia to do so, so hopefully you will take my word for it)...
there are at least 2 places where it can be happening, it can be androgenic stimulation, but i doubt that, because if it were, im guessing you felt high agression while on whatever androgen you were on....
the other place is simply the dozens of reactions that FSH initiates with the rest of your endocrine and pituitary centers... the main difference is you are more likely to feel hypersensitive if your system is already affected by this. you can tell if it's this because after a week of very heavy working out (sans drugs), you will also feel the same effects...
the only thing that can sometimes help is to reduce your sugar and simple carbohydrate consumption (i didn't suggest to go "atkins", but it can't hurt either ) since your glucose roller-coaster isn't helping at all and is one of the few things which with a little regulation can definitely stabilize your emotions.... but then this applies to any emotional instability.... except that when you are hypersensitive, it seems to make even more sense...
