Some guys on here are a bit confused.
Or, well, maybe it's the guys at the border checkpoints that are.
But I have personally brought things like Clen and Piracetam (a smart drug, available in TJ but as far as I know not FDA-approved) across the San Diego & TJ border crossing, and showed them to agents at the crossing. I was taken to the side, questioned, they looked into exactly what I was bringing across, and they let me bring it in - no problem at all.
So, either some of the guys responding to this thread are wrong, or the Agents were wrong. Nothing personl guys, just my personal experince is that I have brought Clen across many times, and they never confiscated it, evem when I was questioned at length.
Typical answer for the Agents ...
"It is like for asthma and brethinmg problems. I have some and .. well, the over-the-counter stuff just does not cut it for me, and I don;t have good medcial insurance right now to pay for any prescription stuff ... and this works".
They key is to NOT cop an attitude, be cool, be respectful. Have an attitude of "gee I think this is ok but you are the Agent sir, and if you tell me otherwise I understand, I just thought this was ok to do ."
I have had sevaral times when a guy will be a dick about it, and I just say "well, my understanding is that I am allowed to bring this across, but I certainbly wil be glad to wait a few minutes while you check it out .... I mean, I am not a lwayer, and if you tell me that its not ok, then thats your call."
The worst that happened was that I spent 15 minutes waiting while the guy looked up Spiropent and Clebuteral somewhere, and came back and told me it was cool. He was still being a dick, but I LET IT GO, thanked him, and was on my way.
Positive Karma is always cool.
