Circumcision vs Non circumcision?

Actually - Jesus was a Jew and back during his time Circumcision was practiced so he probably was circumsized because all male Jews were. And God.. we don't even know if God is in human form so how can you say he was? lol.

My personal conclusion is that yes it is a very very very very very silly thing to do to something that there is nothing wrong with from the get go, it's natural -it's healthy, etc.. and it's based on goofy relgious bullshit...

That's being said... sex, social status, acceptance, etc are very important in real life. If I had a son, I would circumsize him simply because I wouldn't want him to be in a situation where he is ridiculed or shuned by some girl because his dick was considered 'odd'...

How awefull... but it's reality.

I totally see your point. I disagree. That "religious bullshit," is important to some people. Religions do all sorts of things you know? And the foreskin is much different when a baby is new born then when he is older. The pain is very quick. I remember my mother telling me that my brother barely even cried. The rabbi must have done a good job. LOL. It was so quick.

The truth is - we will never know. All writings that started took place nearly 50-60 yrs AFTER jesus died. Many people need to take religious courses because some of it is pure logic (tying times/writings together). I have taken some but I'm not near being one of those scholars. To me, Jesus was a jew and jews DEFINITELY followed VERY strict laws back in his time.

Circumcision rates in the US are down in the 60% range of newborn boys now. These numbers are somewhat skewed by Asian and Hispanic immigrants, but not that much. So a boy today with an intact unit will have plenty of intact peers, so he won't be the only doggie dick in Jr. High gym class, and girls will all have seen them before.
