It's just a welcome to 2009. This will be happening everywhere. Glad I have done been laid off....... so now I have gone through the first few days of "why me" behavior. This is just the beginning. It started in my area when a Ford plant shut down in early 2008. From there DHL..... from there a huge amount of surrounding companies and attractions. Lets just say it doom and gloom around this area. There is a exception though, all the auto parts stores are busy as all hell around here. Wonder why though? I dunno......

I have always gone to best buy instead, CC did suck and deserved to be closed.

The low ceilings and subdued lighting should have made their stores more inviting, but the floor plan was chaotic and I never could find anything. That and their selection and prices always sucked. I think the last time I spent money there was for a Sony CD Discman in 1989.

I needed a Motorola Surfboard modem like ASAP.

Checked out Wal-Mart, Best Buy and then finally circuit city. Wal-Mart had the best price. From inside the Best Buy store I called circuit city and told them to price match wal-mart's price and give me 10% - which they did. Best Buy employees were hounding me haha.

I hate best buy more than anything.
