Anyone here into cigars? Smoking them that is. I brought back a few Cubans from my trip to Costa Rica and can't wait to break one out tomorrow after all that turkey.

I take it you are not into Macanudo? If I am wrong you should try the Gold Label by them. Very nice.

tried once in Spain, but my Cigar shop doesn't have any. Too bad. A good cigar will always beat a joint...:havoc:

J & R is THE place to buy cigars, I've been smoking them since I'm 14. Although I've laid off for a while (I smoked one tonite though)

Macanudos are my favorite, Royal Jamaica's are wonderful too.
My all time favorite is H. Uppmann. They are mid priced and very smooth. They make about 50 different sizes though.

I have found that I prefer the Dominicans to the Cubans. Most of the Cubans have a spicier taste whereas the Dominicans are much smoother IMO. I have smoked Cohibas and Romeo y Julietas from both the Dom. Rep. and Cuba, so I got a pretty good idea.

mmmm... nothing like a nice smoke after thanksgiving dinner. I just smoked an Ashton cabinet selection. pretty good, but a little mild for my taste. last night i smoked a Davidoff millenium. it was great... very powerful for a Davidoff. my favorite cigar recently has been the box pressed C.A.O anniversary edition. its a very full-flavored and smooth cigar.

best smoke i ever had was an opus x. blew all cubans out of the water.

I saw this post before I opened the thread. I was going to comment on my Swisher Sweet.

Manny, how can you possibly jest about any cigar being better than a joint. No way brotha!

Still, I've never smoked a Cuban or any fancy cigars, what are some of the better legal ones under $20. I'm not trying to go broke buying cigars, lol.
