do you guys think this is real or fake? do y'all know anyone who has it? i'm curious because the last couple months, after working out, i've been wiped out for the rest of the day. aside from that i feel run-down as shit usually like i have a cold that won't go away. it's nuts because I used to be really hyper and active, and now this. doc hasn't found anything so far except for elevated lymphocytes like i'm fighting off a virus.

fuck I'm exhausted after reading that. :(

I don't think it exists. It's usually just a symptom of another underlying cause

thyroid or test issues, sleep apnea or lack of quality sleep, poor nutrition, dehydration etc. I definitely believe adrenal fatigue exists though

all those things can contribute to fatigue

that said...i'm tired an awful lot. I definitely have sleep apnea. I tried making an appointment with a sleep clinic here but they want a referral from a PCP (the clinic, not my insurance). fuckin gay...i have every god damn symptom and i've had people tell me i stop breathing when i sleep sometimes

CFS is a blend of many disorders, some in your head and some in your body.

Get a good blood workup done to checkout your body.

Then do your own head check. Is there anything nagging at you (i.e. problems at work) that you just don't like to think about? Do you have anything to look forward to in the future? Turns out, associating current actions with future rewards is a great motivator. Have any of your fundamental habits (i.e. sleep, TV watching, working out) changed over the past few months?

Agreed. I'd put it in the same category as fat people who can't lose weight & childhood dyslexia, ADHD etc: 99% of the time there's nothing wrong with you that you yourself can't adjust to whatever extent.

At least they paid for your gyno surgery.

In my own case my often pathologically poor energy level is pretty well restored by the personal infrared sauna I have at home. I stay in long enough to start sweating freely, then remain inside for an additional 10-15 minutes. When I get out I often literally feel like a weight has been lifted off my entire body. Better mood, better energy, and sleep better.

CFS and fibromyalgia didn't show up until the TSH test showed up onto the scene

coincidence...I think not...look into it

yea it's probably no coincidence that all this started after I moved home after grad school, and went from a super active social and dating life to an almost non-existent one

I'd think that would do it for sure. Returning home can kick-off all kinds of things inside people. And losing a social network can easily do it as well.

Stop being a lil poosie and I didn't know you worked out
