Fucking caught us by surprise during our poker game. They evacuated Wrigley.

Lousy tornado warnings. I have a view of the Hancock from my window...lightnight is striking that sumbitch every few seconds.

I'm in NC right now and every other day we have had bad storms. My wife was out the other day and a hige tree got hit with lightening and she couldn't make it out of the 'hood because it fell across the street. Tons of flooding here too. We need the rain though because we are still on drought conditions.

Not always the case.. lol it does flood a lot here though with heavy rains. It is why we don't have basements. There is a tropical storm here in our area right now. I live in TX.

don't have basements b/c of high water table. i moved to florida for a year after living in the midwest most of my life and wondered why they didn't have basements until i went to dig a hole for a post. water was like 1/5-2ft below the surface

lol yeah same here. I lived in the midwest with a basement and moved to the south where there are no more. I didn't understand why until I was here for the first big rain.
