The "shut the fuck up" remark was in response to Chesty insinuation that SC should be killed. Threatening or suggesting someone should be killed goes beyond the constitutional right to express an opinion. In fact, many courts in the US would find a person guilty of uttering death threats.

Nope. That's just your opinion. You have been asked several times to give a single example of someone being convicted and sentenced (executed or deported...to where?) for making "treasonous statements." You provided one short story, a piece of fiction, and even if, as you claim, the story is true, the protagonist was not sentenced because of his opinions, but because of his material contribution to Aaron Burr's actual attempt to establish a government.

I really am at a loss to understand why you keep making assertions as fact when they are simple opinions with utterly NO historical basis....especially after YOU insist on historical documentation from the rest of us. And why do you have to call everyone who disputes you "dipshit," or some other variety of fecal material?

But the case was dropped both because of the massive corruption the Papers revealed and the government's effort to retaliate against Ellsberg.
