Chest without presses

This was a SAD, SAD day. I started having trouble with my elbow last week (sharp pain from elbow up arm whenever doing any press type move)
so now I've had to cut out all presses until it heals. I had hoped it would go away but I made an attempt today and no such luck. Well back to my point, So I try to go through a chest day with no presses, it sucked. I did
Dumbell pullover(cross bench)
dbell fly
inc fly
decline cable cross
Anyone have any tips for what I could use in here until I can press again.
 
Last week my triceps were so blasted from the heavy push presses and cross bench pullovers that I had done a few days before that I did a chest workout just with incline flyes and pec dec.Used the heaviest dumbells in the gym for the incline flyes (88lbers :qt: ) and then did the pec dec with moderate weight and very slow controlled reps wit ha really good squeeze. Got a bit sore and felt like I'd had an OK workout.

I definitely would not do pullovers with an elbow injury!

Yeah I know it's weird but pullovers aren't given me any pain(at least not yet)
 
How's that bow when doing any tricep movement(extension)?? I get it bad in my right elbow just about every fall/winter when I begin to pack on more weight, thus get stonger. I thinks it's a case of my muscles growing faster then my tendons/ligaments. Try wearing a sleeve.....it helps me get through it.

Yeah that could be it, I'm on right now so strength is taking off. I'm not really able to do tris either. I'm a little confused what do you mean by a sleeve?
 
hey, i can't do presses either because of a rotator cuff injury that i'm STILL rehabbing. :( Heres what i do:

Chest Flye, Decline Flye, Incline Flye, Pullover. I dropset all the flyes, and use PERFECT form, and make sure to squeeze those chest muscles as hard as possible.

Whats crazy is my chest looks better than ever, and has actually grown MUCH faster than when i had been doing presses. Probably because i'm able to isolate my chest much more, and use less triceps and shoulders. But hey, everyone is different :)

That's good news. To hear someone growing in this position. I'll have to try throughing in drop sets
