Hey guys this is BBF. Long time no see. I haven't checked in with the board in quite some time because after getting back into decent shape again naturally, I started getting very sick a little over a year ago. Just started working out again at home a couple weeks ago, trying to slowly get back into shape as my disorder allows. Two specialists, and ENT and neurologist have both diagnosed me with severe bi-lateral Meneire's disease, which has been determined that my previous steroid use and lifestyle were not factors in, but rather trauma in my inner ears from childhood (I know I mentioned on the forums years ago that I was deaf as a child for a couple of years). At this point I'm basically stuck at home because riding in a car is usually too much for me, and causes nausia and vomiting.

Annabelletx and I are still married and just moved back to College Station a few weeks ago from Houston, and outside of my disorder we are happy. Honestly though dispite this setback, I've found peace in my life, and do not feel sorry for myself, nor do I expect others too. Life doesn't always turn out as we would hope, but you can find happiness in the small things in day to day life.

So how are some of the old peeps doing from back in the day? Anywho, vets please check in and let me know how some of you are doing.

whats up bro!! Its Wootoom...i changed my name

omg....hahahaha!

one of the most infamous avatars of all time.

glad to see you saying whats up

(edit...shit dude. that really sucks about the illness. is that permanent? you seriously can't be in a car?)

Beacuse of the severe level of my case (I'm one of the worse cases my doctors have seen) and it being bi-lateral (in both ears) and having responding poorly to treatment yes it is most likely for life. I've gotten through the denial stage. Sometimes I can ride in a car, but about 50% of the time I need to stop and vomit. My wife still tries to get me out a couple times a month though to see a movie or things like that, but we only try it on my best days.

So how are you guys doing? I'm playing world of warcraft atm while checking the thread back and forth.

that is exactly what I eat for breakfast, I'm sure you will be ripped before long. Stick around, besides the laffs - it keeps you enthused to continue working out.

I have continual vertigo attacks so have ot walk with a cane, and balancing myself on a bike would dangerous as I have no sense of balance anymore.

Hey man, good to see you again! I used to be Gonelifting (and also a mod). I'm not around too much but knew you were coming, so I stopped by.

Hope things can get better for you. Get back in shape bro. Good luck to you and your wife.

I know who you are bro, and no need to explain how you knew I'd be stopping through. LoL

Oh wow. Blast from the past again. Anna and I split up a couple weeks after I posted this thread. I'm still fighting the good fight and working to rebuild my life.

Just thought I would let the old crew know that BBF is still alive and kicking... maybe life hasn't turned out quiet like I may have wanted but things are starting to get better for me day by day now. I big shout out to my old friends here.

Actually I am a busy mod at a non-bodybuilding related forum these days. However Smurphy I could check back in a bit more often than I have. These days all I do for working out are daily chinups and pushups and a few bodyweight squats. I've kept a pretty surprising amount of LBM though.

Wow. What happened between you and Anna? I thought that everything was great!

Good to hear that you're still fighting the good fight.

hey bor good to see you again and sorry to hear about everything. but i know you will make it ok.

yo BBF! Sorry about you and anna. How's your illness? You getting better? Hope you're doing well.

It has gotten slightly better. I'm still fighting it. As for me and Anna, things happen. I think I only married her because my mother wanted me to honestly, and my mother has been dead for 3 years now. Honestly dispite our problems her and I have stayed friends... only we realized we really arent ment to be married.

Next time the cat drags up something that gross you need to make sure its dead and toss it back out in the woods imo.

Long time no see. ;)

ROFL... well the body is gone too. I'm slowly getting back in shape given my disability and the fact that I got fat during a year of feeling sorry for myself. Today I did 2 hours on my excersize bike, 12 chinups (spaced out of course... I am way to fat to do 12 back to back) and a set of dumbell squats.

I'm just trying to get to a point where I feel healthy again. Given my medical condition, I have to look at quality of life these days, so I'm just trying to lose the extra fluff, and eat as healthy as possible.
