cutting pieces and assembling = 5 hours
priming and sanding = 1 hour
2 coats paint plus top coat = 3 hours
lighting and electrical = 1.5 hours

total = approx 10 - 11 hours.

Thats cool on the bookcase. I like the mission style furniture and tried to build some of that once but it turned out looking like crap. You obviously know what you are doing though.

I always need more spots for books. I need to start building shelves instead of buying them. It would save me a TON of money. I wish I had some power tools.

I'm with Samoth though looks a little too modern art for my taste. Still kudos on the work and finished product.

I have two 6'x3' bookshelves that can't hold all my books, I need to get a nice library area in the next place I live.
