Are those weights on the higher end, or pretty standard anymore?

Seems like these are far heavier than any other contest I've seen advertised. I mean I know it's nationals, but still......
I think the last WSM I saw used a 550lbs tire and 275lbs farmers. (I think...)

joker..from what ive seen this is the heaviest contest of the yr..i havent seen any with events this intense..thats why i think its such a gut check

I think if I actually trained to do farmers walks with that kind of weight for that distance my weight would have to go up by at least 20 pounds. I don't know how the small guys can get so strong with such low bodyweights.

It is VERY intense...and they are supreme athletes. This contest will be a test of guts and balls...that is for sure. It scares me to think about it.

The contest is 1st week in Feb I believe.

rags you? not ragging u man if ur refering to me and i'm aware that i takes more than strength and what i seen in you at ky wasnt just brute strength...you had the heart and willpower to never quit and i think thats more important than any..if u dont have that u have nothing....and boston will require alot of endurance..im sure.
