Thank you all so much! I had so much fun competing against all of the women. The events were tough, but fun! I really am addicted to this sport! :)

The "SPATTS" on my ass represents spatts on here. She was nice enough to sponsor me, but told me that I had to wear some shorts with her nickname on it! I took it seriously and went out and made some...then she said she was only kidding! :) I thought it was funny, though....I didn't care!

I know that I only got 5th, but I was very happy with my progress...I achieved my goal of getting a PR on every event. Also, I actually beat a lady who had won a pro division of another contest...so I was happy about that, too!

you should be proud of what you accomplished, few would put so much on the line and compete at that kind of level. As always much respect for you NightFly as a competetor and a person, good luck in future events...

Do you specifically train for strong-women competitions, or are you also competitive in powerlifting and bodybuilding? What are your long term goals?

If you don't mind me asking, where do you go to school? I am a proud Oklahoma Sooner.

I specifically train from strongwoman. I only have one implement to train with, though (the tire). Every other gym movement pretty much revolves around a powerlifting movement. Squat, bench, and overhead press. I have never been a powerlifter or a bodybuilder (THOUGHT about doing that once...lol). I have pretty much done everything else in the book when it comes to sports, though...just never been this involved in weight lifting.

My long term goals...hmm...well...I really enjoy this, but if I get tired of it I may try powerlifting or something like that...who knows. I am just doing this now because I enjoy it. No telling where it will take me.

I am at the University of TN at Chattanooga. A small school, but it works.

The tire is one of my favorite events. It is brutal....but you can sure get rid of all of your bent up frustrations and stresses on that thing. :) It can take a beating...and it beats me up in the process!
