Cheat days on cycle ... especially during cutting phase ...

How much calories do you consume? And what kind of food do you gorge on?

My diet is clean but Sundays I'm eating everything and anything in sight.

Today I've had a double cheeseburger from In-N-Out plus fries.

For dinner I had a massive amount of Chinese food.

And right now I'm chompin' on some Macadamia cookies.

I'm probably closing in on 4,000 - 4,500 calories before I go to bed.

I'm waking up bright and early tomorrow and will be running/walking 6 miles total on an empty stomach.



For those of you that have cheat days on your diet, what do you usually consume?

For those of you that have cheat days on your diet, what do you usually consume?

I'm a burger junkie, luckily I have super fast metabolism so I get away with it (actually unlucky for bulking). I never plan a cheat day though. They just happen. Therefore I can't give you a "cheat diet" rundown. Try and keep it clean, I know its hard.
 
Chinese food. I love it but I bloat up like I am on 50mg of dbol for half a day. I always regret it but tis' so damn tasty. I dont plan my cheat days either. I just get a feeling I need to get something different and try to moderate myself a bit during that day.
 
i use sundays as my cheat days, i have it planned, start with ihop, taco bell pizza, pasta, you name it, i push about 5-6k calories. what i do do is tray make sure i still keep protein up. mondays i have a food hangover and usaully shit 6 times in a day. but i still drop bf every week while still having this cheat day
 
No cheat days, just cheat meals. My body reacts better to 2-3 cheat meals spread throughout the week than an entire day devoted to junk. Blasting your body with a few high calorie meals here and there wont hurt you, an entire day of crap loading you down with 8-10,000 cals will.

Eh, a day with 8-10000 cals might hurt you. But if it works for you, then you don't necessarily have to switch it up. And if it is a cheat day, well then eat anything you want. If that becomes a problem, then switch it up.

As far as metabolism goes, everyone really has roughly the same metabolism. It doesn't decline all that much with age as we tend to think it does. Typically eating habits and activity levels are to blame. You body CAN become more efficient at fat burning or fat storage depending on how you have started to program it through your eating habits and activity levels. In general we really are all about the same when it comes to metabolism....considering height/weight etc. Fat loss, fat storage, muscle gain, muscle loss is attributable to other factors.

I eat chocolate almost every day. I have a very fast metabolism. I have 10% BF and I'm 195lbs. lots of cheat meals, 2-3 a week sometimes...lol....my wife is jealous!
