You can train full body workouts 4 days or more a week if you know how to design a good program for yourself.....but this could get ugly because it seems everyone is looking for strict bodybuilding programs....if you train like an athlete, you can do full body movements and upper and lower body movements each day, all week long, as long as you know how to set it up...and make plenty of gains....Im doing full body lifts Mon/Tue/Thurs/Fri meaning I start with a platform lift, mostly olympic lift variation, then hit the rack for squats or bench, push and pull upper body, then interval training with sprints, or versa climber, med ball throws, throw in some isolation supersets...along with 4 morning sessions a week of GPP and general anaerboic conditioning...it can be done...and you can make sweet gains...especially if you are on the sauce Im sure.....go find your local Divison One football powerhouse program and try to get your hands on one of the guys summer workout books, try it for 3 months, I bet you make some sick gains.....wouldnt hurt bodybuilders to train like athletes 2-3 months out of the year, bet ya it would pack on some size you might be looking for...
