So I started bodybuilding December 28th 2005 and it is now August 23rd 2006
Stats Day 1= 18 yrs old 6'1 162 lbs 14.5'' arms pumped, 23'' Quads 23'' chest low 40''s calves 15.5''
NOW arms = 6'1 192 lbs 16.25 Pumped, quads 26, chest 42.5'' calves 16.5''
Still have a cut look/abs by the way

For the entire semester of college i revamped my diet and ate 6 meals a day + shakes and trained very hard 6 days/week.
I did the basic
day1= chest/tri
day2= back/bi
day3= legs
day4= shoulders
day5= off/maintenance
day6= repeat
I did that until July and started doing a chest/back routine along with doing arms solely alone on one day.
I got more intense and use my basic supplement choice of a Pure Cee/Whey protein/Multivitamin and a good meal plan.

My rep range was atleast 8-15 and have always done a higher rep range.
I have added alot of pure strength just from never training before and sticking to my routine.

I'm wonderin now that im heading back to college tomorrow if i should change my routine to a powerlifting (lower rep range) to change these up for about 6 weeks.

What do you guys think i should do?
Questions/comments?

At the very least, you should consider alternating "powerlifting" with "bodybuilding" so you can build new strength and lift heavier regardless of the rep range. Another idea is to go w/ an upper/lower type split, and do heavy/light, heavy/light, alternating heavy weights w/ lighter weights during each week rather than during diff't mesocycles (months,basically).

And the 5x5 is always a very good option. Check the training vault, whatever you do.

Alright i will check that out.
I kept growing at my rep range range and was getting bigger/bigger and was wondering if it was even worht it.

How long should i do a 5x5 training period?

as long as you want. You do not get into PRs till week 4 i think so doing it shorter then that would be almost pointless. i would say two months and you will be able to tell if you like it or not (which you will).

Thanks guys.
Do you think the 5x5 will give me core strength gains and maintain size or will size come to me as well?
It'll be a huge positive change... core will feel way stronger.

Size... depends on how/what you eat. That's all diet.

Take a look at the article I linked to in a thread lower on this page with "Training Primer" in the title. It should answer a lot of questions you might have about, well, training.
