Cavs for sure.the_clockwork said:who's watching?
I'm going for cavs
PuddleMonkey said:I wouldn't mind seeing the Cavs this year. At least in the east, Spurs will dominate whichever team they play.
the_clockwork said:I think cavs / spurs will be way better than anyone expects.. who on the suprs will shut down james? detroit can't do it then doubtful anyone else will.. cavs can contain duncan too
PuddleMonkey said:I'd love for the Cavs to beat them, but its just not gonna happen. Hopefully they get past Detroit and we'll have some fun in the bookie forum.
the_clockwork said:It's the NBA it's impossible to say that.. I am willing to bet 95% of america that watches the NBA said Golden State will NEVER beat Dallas too

disagree entirely.the_clockwork said:ya he's the reason I don't like detroit.. he is a dirty, bad attitude player.. see ya next year wallace!
Gambino said:disagree entirely.
sheed's bad rap comes not from his play, but from how he handles himself with the refs.
sheed's techs are rarely cause of a bad or hard foul.
people don't like him and that's fair, but to call him a dirty or cheap player is wrong and shows you don't follow his game.
it's like lebron has a bubble around him, get too close and the whistle blows every fucking time...i could see and relate to sheed's frustration and at that point it was obvious there was no coming back for detroit
PuddleMonkey said:I hate Rodman with a passion! He was cool when I met him, but I still don't care for him as a player.

the_clockwork said:you people constantly bash on cavs and don't think you ahve a chance but I'd take anyone up on $100 that cavs do not get swept and this series goes to game 6 at the very least
calveless wonder said:they might not get swept....but it'll end in 5, maybe 6 if they steal one. lebron can go off for a game or two and just take over in the 4th if they hang around, but the spurs are just such a better system and overall level level of talent and have tons of playoff experience.
you really think larry hughes or ilgauskas match up with the rest of that team?

you really think larry hughes or ilgauskas(which are sadly their best other players) match up with the rest of that team?
the_clockwork said:Duncan is not a good on the ball defender. Ilgauskas has range, duncan can stand under the goal and block shots and that's about it, outisde the lane he is a worthless defender and it will be proven. Duncan has zero range, if he's not standing directly under the goal odds are he will miss the shot
pistons 3-1 vs cavs this seasonthe_clockwork said:You know it's odd, I think the cavs can beat the spurs, not b/c I'm a fan of the cavs, but b/c they have played each other twice this season and guess who won both those games? the cavs!
you can't argue with that
what makes it sting is that they lose to lesser quality teamsstring_bean00 said:i am deeply saddened
two years in a rock the boys go out in game 6 of the east conf finals
Gambino said:what makes it sting is that they lose to lesser quality teams
the heat sure were awesome this post season
and regardless of what all the cavs dick riders claim, cleveland is a average team with a superstar
the_clockwork said:as was chicago and look what they got
Gambino said:chi is gonna have to trade a guard to get a big man that can post up.
i could see them being a beast in a few yrs

has cleveland won anything in the last 50 yrs? nopeharmonica said:Did Detroit win? Nope. Hehehehehehehehe
That's why I'm talking shit. We never win anything.Gambino said:has cleveland won anything in the last 50 yrs? nope
i'd wait to talk shit bro, detroit basketball has quite a few titles under their belt
the pistons have been to the ECF the last 5 yrsharmonica said:That's why I'm talking shit. We never win anything.
Yes, you sound bitter too.Gambino said:the pistons have been to the ECF the last 5 yrs
2 finals appearances
1 championship (very close to 2)
untill the cavs win a championship and have consecutive finals appearances, they need to keep quiet...
i'm def bitter about the loss. i just loved dtown's style of ball, where all 5 put points on the board. team ball in its purest form with no superstar.
so much better as opposed to the superstar ball, where one player scores and the rest are mostly scrubs (varejio, igauskas, hughes)
