Casein protein

Would casein be a good idea as a meal replacement shake when trying to shed few pounds. Also has anybody any opinions on late night casein . Or even casein before morning cardio instead of empty stomach. Would like to hear peoples views on it as i am thinkin of adding some to my diet as well as pwo whey. Mornin cardio 3 times week lifting 4. Whey after lifting obv.
 
my 2 favorites for nite time casein is optimum nutrition 100% casein or MHP probolic sr, both are real good, the ON sits less heavy in my stomach tho
