Casein Protein Supplements

Hi, I'm new here. I'm wanting to start eating some casein protein before bed each night but the mere thought of cottage cheese makes me want to vomit. So, my question is does the casein protein in supplement form release protein as slowly as it would if I got it from a natural source? I assume yes, but just wanted to confirm.

Oh, and are there any other natural sources of casein rather than cottage cheese that would be advisable to take before bedtime?

Thanks for any help,

Brandon

Casein comes from dairy.

Just a 100% casein protein and mix 2 tablespoons of all natural peanut butter in with it before bed. You'll need a blender.

It works awesome for me.

+1. You can add in some flax oil or mac oil too. Get the casein from allthewhey... Great protein and cheapest I have seen it.

+1 and be sure to mix with milk. I prefer goats milk. It's easier on the stomach and with milk the sugars in it will let it react in the blood quickly, help you sleep, and put you in a good mood in the morning.

I know a guy who has a goat that he milks daily to have fresh goats milk in his shakes.

I like milk but stay away from it as much as possible. Especially before bed.
