Freakin Wii is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. We finally kept one!

The only problem is that the kids love it so much that it's creating an uneven wear pattern in the carpet. :rolleyes:

I've been looking for a F'in WII since last X-mas. They just don't have any in stock around here. Told my mother who some how got one in like two days and is send it for a X-mas present. She won't send it early. This is where it gets nasty. I said I needed to get it a head of X-mas in case I have to buy another controller etc. Evil mom sends me an extra control and charger. So I have those now but no Wii.

BTW I'm to cheap to pay $500 for a wii or I would have one by now. My neighbors got them in all sorts of weird ways. One guy was driving past CC on the way to work and saw a line at the door so he thought something good must have come in. Stood in line at open for about 10 minutes and bought a wii. That happened to be the day they came in.

WTF. They've had a year to make them and they can't ramp up production?
 
I love smooshing carpet! I'm not a big fan of deep shag, kinda like the carpet cut short. Bare floor is best though!
 
Had the wii been on par power wise with the ps3 and the 360 the console wars would be done by now and sony/microsoft would be going back to their prior business's. It's a shame......the next time round both sony and microsoft are going to utterly copy the crap out of the wii and then dilute the fun with their incessant mediocrity. It used to be competition was good for business....but ever since sony and microsoft got in the game they've been content to churn out crap like butter. I'm so happy the wii is kicking the shit out of both of em. But for certain game genre's it's not a good system.......unfortunately.
 
hey CM...how much you getting out of your Wii's on ebay? I've got one that's been used only a couple times, charging station too.

Hit up Craiglist and throw in a game or few accessories and charge about retail or a little higher.

I haven't sold a Wii on ebay since January. Nintendo is a lot smarter and they've finally stepped up production of them for the holidays.

They're not scarce here at all right now! :(
 
Oh yeah, I'm kinda an odd ball though because I'll only sell stuff that I can DOUBLE my $$ on usually unless it's super easy to ship.

I'm in for the profit kill. Otherwise, paypal fees, ebay fees and the PITA that it is to ship crap makes it not worth it. Ya know?

yeah...I sell a lot of my sons baby clothes on ebay. Some brand new, some only worn a couple times.

I remember last xmas wii's were going for CRAZY on ebay. I do have a mlb 08 and a couple other games. I throw it up on CL and see what it does.

Cool! Good luck with that! I know you'll at least make your $$ back or maybe a little more.

I :heart: CL! Last year I woke up itching to shop and had no cash. Put my kid's double stroller on CL in the AM and by lunch was collecting my $175 from another mom at a local Starbucks parking lot and I was shopping!!!
