Cardio?

If i'm trying to put on mass should i be doing any cardio? I ask because i tried to gain all last summer and it wasn't happenin... but soon as i stopped cardio my weight started goin up. but it kind of seems like im getting fat now only in the midsection lol is it cuz i'm adding extra shit like baked goods and all of that to add more cals at the end of the night when my stomach is growlin and i just ate 30 minutes ago? will cardio cut down on my gaining over all?
 
well.
i do cardio in the offseason to keep waterweight away and to get my metabolism going. u should do it, i would.
just add a little more cals to your diet, clean cals
 
Stick with interval type cardio like sprints. Burns fat, preserves muscle; just look at olympic sprinters.
 
check out HIIT.. that is a really good program if you want to cut at all.. your diet has to do with gains more than your actual working out.. if you want to gain then eat more, if you want to cut then eat less
 
cardio is counter productive to building muscle. keep eating the protein, fats, carbs you need on a colorie level that will keep you at a comfortable bf. stay in the double digits and keep food in you through the night.
 
Sounds like eating cleaner would simplify your situation. Nothing wrong with eating late at light but maybe something else would have the desired effect.

Some type of cardio in moderation > not.
