cardio w/cycle

I just started 2X/day cardio sessions along with my first week of 100mg of winny/day (2nd half of cycle)

I do cardio as soon as I get up at 3:30am, but when is the best time to do the 2nd session?

Right before bed?
Should it be done after all you meals for the day

I've always wondered this.
 
Do your cardio after the longest point without food. So 1 a day sessions are best in AM when your body has nothing but fat to burn for energy. So whenever your second session is going to be, try to have as little food in you as possible. Then wait about an hour after cardio to eat, so your body burns that stored energy.

Anyway you look at it, the second session is going to use food in your stomach for energy - but as long as you remain calorie deficient you will burn fat.

What if I start the day and end the day with Cardio?

Do I have to eat after my second session? Or could I just got bed?

What's "better"?

I like to go for a light run, about 1km when I get up before I eat, and after my workout when my blood sugar level is lowest and my glycogen stores are depleted.
That's most effective for me.

I would not go to sleep without eating. I don't know what your daily schedule looks like, or what your eating schedule looks like. You have to rememeber that you have a long time without food during sleep. I always take protein before bed.

If it were me, and I was doing twice a day I would do this

5:30 AM Cardio
7:15 Protein Shake
9:30 AM Eat
12:30 PM Eat
4PM Cardio
6PM Eat
9 PM Protein Shake
Sleep

I prefer once daily AM on empty stomach.
 
There is nothing wrong with 2 seesions of cardio if you are looking for some extreme fat burning and getting it quick.
I would do an am cardio, and then if you workout in the evening, I would do it right after tha workout, that way your heart rate is already up so your intensity stays higher for longer.
I have always read that it is not a good thing to do cardio right before bedtime...I don't remember the specifice reasons, but it keeps me awake if I do cardio within 2 hours of bedtime. You just need to experiment to see what works for you.

I lift around 3pm every day, so I will just do the cardio right after my workout.

The first one should be in the morning on an empty stomach. This is a good way of speeding up the metabolism.

Your second cardio session should be in the evening. I read a study that individuals that hit cardio in the evening, versus people doing it in the morning or afternoon lost more weight over a tested period of time (I believe it was a 12 week study.) The reason being is that your metabolism will slow down in the evening and a cardio session will kick start it. For people who eat big meals cardio in the evening should be performed after the evening meal.

I would either put the 2nd session after your workout or around 4 PM (seems like that's close to bed time for you).
 
i do cardio only once... otherwise i get burnt out on it quick and stop doing it all together. i get sick of it quick. whats some good ideas to keep me motivated besides music?
